POR Pool Rehab Update

Received a letter from WDW that the main pool will be closed to all guests from 1/6/2003 until 2/8/2003. Guests may use the quiet pools and the French Quarter pool during this time.

We got the same letter but we're staying at CBR in January. Any idea why they would send that letter to a CBR guest?

Has anyone heard what the pool updates will be? I heard one rumor but it sounded too good to be true. What has anyone else heard?

Shamrocks - we're staying at CBR also during that timeframe. Wouldn't it be funny if they sent the letter to CBR guests instead of POR guests??!!

PamLau, the renovations...a longer slide (woopee!, thought it couldn't get any better), putting in those fountain spurty things like Epcot has, doing away with the island in front of the bar and of course completely replacing the rotted out bridge over the pool, that is what started it all. Should be great!
