POR or POFQ foodcourt?

POR or POFQ foodcourt for breakfast?

We will be staying at POFQ in February. We will probably get a lite breakfast every morning before we head out to the parks at the foodcourt. It will just be me and my mom this trip--no kids!

Which foodcourt do you prefer for breakfast, POR or POFQ?

What is your favorite thing to eat at either?

Do both resorts offer beignets?

As far as atmosphere...I think that the POFQ foodcourt looks kind of scary with all of those huge Mardi Gras heads! (sorry!)

Both food courts are pretty equal in terms of what they offer, but POR does have a slightly better selection because it is larger. But with the extra size comes the extra crowds, so it's kind of a toss up. I do think that POR has a nicer atmosphere in the food court, but the way to go at either resort is to grab a table outside. It is much more pleasant and quiet. My favorite thing for breakfast is the Mickey waffle which is offered at every resort food court. The breakfast platter with eggs and sausage is very good too. Only POFQ has beignets. I wouldn't worry about this aspect of the resorts too much, the food courts really are comprable to each other.

We like both resorts. Often we will walk down to POR from POFQ and grab a dessert and drink for the walk back. POR has a bit more selection offering a "mexican" fare and also more of a homestyle meal (chicken, ribs, mashed potatoes, corn, etc.). I don't recall the POFQ having those two offerings but could be wrong.

The breakfast at both is pretty much the same. And, I do like the beignets for breakfast. Often, though, I ask for the powder sugar on the side so I can dunk. Sometimes there is way more on them than I like ... but I am strange in that respect.
