Thinking about buses only, which do you prefer? POR has fewer bus stops so I'm thinking that makes it better especially at night when we want to just get back to the room. But wondering thoughts of those who have stayed at both. Goal is to get to and from parks as quickly as possible lol not concerned with rooms or property. Thanks!

I have stayed at both resorts. Hands down the answer is Port Orleans French Quarter. The French Quarter has only one bus stop. Port Orleans Riverside has several bus stops.

Comparing buses only = POR

When we stay at CBR it is with the understanding we will be driving everywhere we go. While it was nice that there were bus stops never far shared by fewer rooms, we never saw the bus stops empty ... which to me said the buses were not coming often enough.

We've stayed at both and much prefer CBR. Every village has its own bus stop so you'll have a very short walk to your room at the end of the night. You could have a bit of a trek at POR. In the mornings and at the end of the night at CBR the run 2 buses. One stops at 4 stops and the other one hits the other 3.

I've stayed at both and to me POR has much better bus service.

Only considering buses? Neither CBR nor POR is the best. In fact, either POFQ or CSR would be the best choice out of the moderate resorts, IMO, when considering buses alone as a factor.

POR or CBR will both have potentially good or bad busing depending upon luck or your POV.

We've stayed at both and considering buses only, I also vote for POR. 4 stops versus 7 stops made a difference to us, and we also had bad luck at CBR with very crowded buses and an inconsistent schedule.

Any resort could have good or bad busing, depending on luck. I have found no resort is immune to a bad day with busing.
