POR not closing..

Just called POR. They claim that none of the rooms have been renovated and that the resort will be up and running throughout the year. I am a bit disappointed that they havent renovated the rooms. Although I loved the resort, and the convenience of the boat to DD, I found lack of shelf and storage space in the rooms a bit of a problem. I am thinking of upgrading to AKL, however I am going to wait 4 weeks until our vacation before I decide.
