POR Hot tub Closed???

Hi all,

I hear the POR hot tub is being refurbished!!! Has anyone been recently? We will be there in 4 days!

I was there last Monday checking out the resort while my friends shopped at DTD. It appeared fine then. There were poeple up there in swimming wear; I couldn't see the actual water because of the shrubs and we were just passing by, but it appeared they were using it.

Hmmm, has anyone else been recently, I just read a post that said its still being done...

I thought that sounded quite fishy, so I called again hoping to get a different person. Neil said they did have working hot tubs at the main pools both at POR and POFQ. At least my sanity has returned. He said both were working fine.

Hmm, I called today and was told its still closed... dont you just love getting 3 different answers to the same question... looks like we have nowhere to soak our feet this trip

Maybe one of them will be working...it maybe a trek to the one at POFQ, but it might be better than nothing.

We returned from POR on 10/1 and it appeared closed then. We swam at the main pool on the day we left and I noticed that it looked like that area was blocked off.

Just left POR yesterday (Sat.) and it was closed. Lots of fence and refurbishing signs and big piles of dirt around the actual hot tub itself when we peered over the fence. Yes, the pool is open but not the hot tub.
