POR - Buses

At the POR how did you find the bus service? This is our first trip without a car.

Last time we took our car and never even took it out of the parking lot. I guess it depends on the time of year you are going but we love the bus service at POR. We never waited more than 5 mins for a bus (and usually not that long) and always had a seat with the exception of one night on the way home from MGM. A HUGE rain storm came up very quickly with no warning just before Fantasmic and whe Fantasmic got cancelled there was a huge rush for the buses adn we had to stand. It seemed the whole park cleared in about 15mins (just to give you an idea we had ponchos on and were still soaked to the skin and dripping). Only in WDW would this have been fun and funny instead of irritating.
All in all the bus service was incredibly convenient and you could not pay me to have to negotiate Disney's roads, park in gigantic lots and deal with traffic when I can get somebody else to do it for me for free and be dropped off at the door!

I am going to stay at POR in June and will be using the bus. I have never stayed at this resort but used the bus services all the time at other Moderates (CBR and CSR) and had no problems. Most I have ever waited was maybe 10 minutes or so for the main entrance.
