POR Building Request

From the map I see 14, 15, 18, & 27 are the closest to the main building which is what we would like. I read that 18 has some smoking rooms so that is out (2 with asthma in our group). Are 14 & 15 noisy? Is 27 too far away?

27 is great!! The views are nice and it's a quick trip to the main building/food court if you take a right and if you go left you have a short trip to the main pool. We requested a corner room because they have 2 windows. It was very nice.

We stayed in building 15 and found it very convenient and super quiet. Not to far from a quiet pool and not to far from Old Man River. Also very convenient to the food court. We had a second floor corner room which I really liked. The two windows make it even nicer. It was really just great.

Stayed in bldg 14 in June...when the CM assigned me that room she told me that if I were any closer to the main bldg...I would be employed there!! We had a corner room on the ground level. I could see the buses coming and going from the main bus stop at the front of the resort!!! The only 'down side' to our room was there was a lot of foot traffic from both the parking lot and the bus stop. But it wasn't a huge deal. It was about a 2 minute walk to the food court, maybe less. And the same to the bus stop. Bldg 15 is closer to a quiet pool though. And just a wee bit further from the main bldgs.

We stayed in Bld. 37. I know it may seem far but it was really quiet. The walk was very enjoyable. I would stay there again.

There are bus stops all around the resort. So it doesn't really matter where you stay in the resort, the walk will be somewhat the same.

I stayed in bldg 18 last year and even though it is tagged a "smoking" building. I would have never known had there not been an ashtray on the table. There was NO smoke smell at all in the room.

However, I do understand the problem if you're travelling with asthmatic individuals. While I think that the location of 18 is perfect, I'd suggest 14 or 15 if they are non-smoking. They're right next to 18 and close to the main bus depot, and the main building.

We were in Bldg. 18 in May in a non-smoking room. It's a great location. Close to the food court and in front of the quiet pool. We were in Bldg. 14 several years ago and also found it noisy - not only from the guests but from mousekeeping.
