Hi,

I found a map of POR, but can't find a chart that shows what room number belongs to what building. We stayed in #9804 in 1997 (Dixie Landings) and I was just curious as to what building we were in since we might be staying there again. Anyone know where #9804 is?

Thanks,

Tink

Hmm I dunno. We were in bldg 16 in the AB section in March and I can't remember the exact room number but it began with 16... like 1607 or something like that. Maybe the Mansion bldgs are numbered differently? :confused3

Hi Lizzybee, Thanks for responding. Your post reminded me I forgot to add that 9804 is in the mansions. It was either in Magnolia or Oak, but I wish I knew which one.
Help! Anyone know which POR mansion building room #9804 is in?

Thank you for any help,
Tink

The map ive got just says Aligator Bayou buildings 14 to 38 and Magnolia Plantation buildings 80 (Acadian House) 85 (Magnolia Terrace) 90 (Oak Manor - smoking) and 95 (Parterre Place). I presume the room numbers go 8001, 8002 etc for Acadian; 8501, 8502 for Magnolia etc which wouldnt show your room number of 9804 so unless it was 90 which would mean Oak Manor which was opposite the boat landing site Im afraid I cant help -hope someone will be along to give you more info!!

Im not sure either....we were in room 9739 and that was in Parterre Place.

Thanks so much for all the replies. I appreciate it. I double checked my receipt from 1997 (yes, I still have it, lol) and it does say 9804, so looks like Parterre Place it is. I could have sworn it was Magnolia or Oak. Oh, btw, in case anyone is interested, the room was 124.00 per night for 3 people in August 1997.

Me again, the OP. Here is a photo taken at Dixie Landings in 1997. Can anyone identify the mansion that has these black railings?
Thanks!
Tink

I believe it...my mom has the receipt from our 1979 stay at the Poly -- and it was $60.00 a night then. Wouldn't I love to get that rate now!? Anyhow, old receipts are fun.

Thanks for all the replies. I really appreciate it. I don't know why I get so sentimental about finding out the exact mansion we stayed in. Probably because it was our first onsight stay.

Wow, SnoWhiteRabbit, $60 for the Poly? Incredible! And I bet your family had to book a year in advance back then. I remember it was almost impossible to stay onsight in "the old days." ;) That's cute that your mom still has the receipt.
