I know Toy Story Mania and the Submarines are good rides to try and do first thing in the morning. What other popular rides should we try to do early before the lines get too long?

Also, if we don't have the early entry will the lines be long by the time we get in at the regular park opening hours? Thanks!

OK -- Someone -- preferably someone fast has to take one for the team and be the fastpass runner. That person spends the morning collecting fastpasses. The rest of y'all buy that person lunch! You use the fastpasses later -- get fastpasses for Space Mountain, Indiana Jones & Splash Mountain as early as possible. Get there when the park opens. If you have little kids, do Fantasyland first. For my kids -- they love Big Thunder, Pirates, Splash, Haunted, Mansion, etc -- so we tend to go there first. Well, DH gets Space Mountain fastpasses of course!

After you get your priority fastpasses collected, if you are passing a ride with a fastpass machine, GET FASTPASSES!!! It won't hurt anything & you can walk on the ride later. We took my 20 year old niece on her 1st trip a few weeks ago (gasp!!!), once she figured out how the fastpasses worked, she asked why everyone didn't use them? Obviously, most people just don't understand how they worked. That's what irked me about the monkey fighting dream fastpasses, the majority of people didn't know what they had. We got them once -- one perfect day :dance3: I'm still trying to figure out how much I would pay to buy them, becuase I'm pretty sure that they are going to be for sale at some time in the not too distant future!

The MM is only for Tomorrowloand and Fantasyland. You could zip over to Indy and get a FP for that first if that is a priority. If possible, it is good to do Fantasyland on a non MM. You get to get on to most of the rides there with little wait. (Nemo excepted).

Like the PP said, collect your important FPs first and use them when the lines for these rides are long. During the morning you should be going on non FP rides while they are short. Even on a MM, the lines in the morning will still be better than later on. Buzz is a good ride for picking up FPs later on when the other FP rides have a very late return time or have run out. I'm amazed at how many people wait in a very long line for that ride. We rode it many many times by picking up FPs in the afternoon and evening and had only about a 5 min wait.

Have fun! :)

First question: Peter Pan, Matterhorn, Alice in Wonderland all tend to have long lines and none of them have FP. However, all of them are also open for MM. But, even if you enter at normal park opening and head to those rides first thing, you shouldn't wait more than 20 min and it will definitely be much less than if you were to wait for these attractions during the day.

Second question: From my MM super thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1675403
What if I don't have MM. Should I still go to DL on a MM day? Will it be already extremely crowded when I enter?
Definitely start at DL on a MM day even if you don't have MM. Only Fantasyland and some Tomorrowland rides are open, so you can still get an equal rope drop for the Adventureland/Frontierland side of the park. Then later in the day, hop over to DCA if you want. If you are only going for 1 day, try to avoid MM days; however, multiple day visitors should not.

Make a priority list before you go. Know what land they are in and which take FP. Read Hydroguys tips on collecting FPs. OK, whew!
As was previous posted. MM only accounts for Fantasyland and a few rides in Tomorrowland. That is why it is recommended to work the left of the park first on an MM day. Grab a FP for Indy before you ride Jungle cruise. Grab a Splach Mountain FP when your window opens and ride Pooh, HM. Grab a Big Thunder PF on your way to Fantasyland.
We save Pirates & Tiki Room til later because they have ahsort wait. Pirates loads alot fast)
Everyone has their own way of doing things. BUt we try to ride the slow loaders early and grab FP in the area of those rides. Work our way through the park saving the FP rides and fast (bulk) loading rides for when the crowds get bigger.

Thanks for the tips! I forgot about Indiana Jones. Personally I'm not a fan of that type of ride, but my BF will probably like it. And we'll definitely take advantage of FP while we're there. Thanks again!
