We have a registration for Princess Storybook breakfast at Epcot at 8:10 a.m. What time does the first bus run to Epcot and will we be able to make it on time? I am stressing a little as that is the only time available and it is all my daughter is talking about - to miss it would, well, be more than awful. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

the first busses are usually around 715-730. Youre not that far away so your in good time shape. Also, from what I understand, there is usually and I stress usually a 15 minute grace period to a reservation, or what ever they are calling it this week.

Its my understanding (although I may be wrong) that buses start running approx one hour prior to park opening. So, if Epcot opens at 8 that day, the buses should start at 7. However, I have also heard that there are typically character breakfast buses circulating as early as 6:30AM.

I am relying on the second statement as we have Chef Mickey reservations at 7:45 one morning and I was told getting there from POP should be no problem if I speak to the front desk and make sure I get on the character breakfast bus.

Good luck! :)

We have stayed at Pop for the last two years and both years had an early morning ADR, one year at Crystal Palace and one year at the Wave. Neither year did we have a problem making our ADR. We were waiting for the bus about an hour before our ADR time because the early morning buses don't run quite as frequently.

Heres the thing about the very first busses in the morn. First, they originate out of the TTC, not the park themselves. It takes about 25 minutes to make it from TTC to the CB as an example.
Second, you are also at the mercy of a everyone showing up on time and b that the busses are ready to go.(most are fueld, checked and cleaned the night before, however there has been mechanical issues that popped up over night) If either of those scenarios pop there ugly head, the bus is delayed. There are usually floater drivers available, and also contingency plans, but the first 2 or 3 busses in the morn are at the mercy of several things going right.

If you plan to be in the bus stop for a 7-715 bus, your in good shape.
The drivers in the morn are also the ones with the most senority, meaning that they have been there an average of 15 years or more. They are used to the morning breakfasts, early openings, etc and are extremly accomodating.

Explain to the first driver that you see, what you are trying to do and a lot of times, a driver going to say DHS, that may come in first, that has no guests may drop you at Epcot.

Buses are there for early morning ADRs. They start running about 6:30 to MK and 'perhaps' a bit later (okay katieeldr???) to the other parks. Be out at your Epcot bus stop by 6:45-6:50. These buses run a bit less frequently, so be prepared for a longish wait if you just miss the bus. When you get to Epcot, you are going to have to walk all the way through Futureland, to WS...that can take up to 25 mins depending on how fast you walk...who wants to arrive at breakfast all hot and sweaty?? It takes me about 15-18 mins to make it...but I have a long stride. So, leave about 30 mins to get there...that way you can take your time and enjoy the empty park. You should arrive at Norway at 8:00 to get checked in.
And again I ask....why would anyone ask a bus driver to deviate from his route??? If the bus is going to DHS, that's where it's going. Of course, you could take the DHS bus and then walk to Epcot...about 25 mins. But there is no way I would ever ask a bus driver if he could drop me at a different park or resort than he was supposed to be going to.

Mmm... okay. Reasonable compromise ;)

Thank you all very much. I feel much better knowing that we will make it (as long as we do our part by making it to the bus stop in time). I honestly thought we were out of luck unless we rented a car. Thanks again!
