I posted an explanation on page 18. The swappers arrange their own trade offs. We have 5/20 to 5/26 available.

If you're going within the next month or so, and are still waiting for information from me, please PM me. I may have missed one, or two of you. Also, all swappers check the current list on page 19 and see if there has been any changes to the swappers before, and after, you. If you aren't going for awhile, you can hold off exchanging info until it gets closer. (The farther out plans have a greater chance of changing.)

Additionally, if you haven't sent me your info (full name, ressie #, arrival date, and contact number) please do so-so that I have the information, if needed. Thanks everyone. Terri

We just returned last night-the weather was beautiful and we had an awesome time!

I picked up the fridge and we appreciated the use of it-My hubby loved the leftovers and we had brought cereal for the kids, so we bought a 1/2 gallon of milk at Pop!

I handed it off to Thewags-I hope they are having a great time-I know the weather was getting cooler when we left!

The CM in luggage had a hard time locating it for me, but once I said it had Lime green Mickeys on the box, he found it easily-so you may want to mention that when anyone picks it up from storage!

Yes, I got your PM yesterday, I didn't realize you needed an immeadiate response since you aren't going for 7 months. Those dates just recently became available, however, I need to look back at, conservatively, 100-150 postings and PM, to see if someone else already asked for those dates. If not, your in.

For all looking to join in:

Back on post #252, I explained that I can not respond to every PM and posting on the same day. Again, not a rant, but understand that I already used the refrigerator and honestly don't expect it to last until I return this Sept. So, I am only doing this to help out fellow disboarders since I have received valuable info on these boards that has saved me time, and money. But this is not my job. I am not getting paid, nor collecting any more $$ for doing this. Everytime I check my PMs, and this thread ,I spend, conservatively an hour, or more, updating, and responding to them. It would make it easier for me, if people would check the most current list (currently on page 19) before contacting me. Many requests I have gotten are for dates already taken and it just takes up more of my time to respond to them with a no. (As well as filling up my PM box, and then I have to save PM to another file) I tried to make the list as easy to read as possible. Available dates are clearly shown.

Also, when swappers plans change, it takes me extra time to fill in since I think it is only fair to look back at previous requests I may have received for those now available dates.

Again, the refrigerator is available on a first come, first served, request. If I don't responsed immeadiately, don't worry as all PM and postings have date and time stamp on them and I take them in order posted. Many of you are making requests for 4, 5, or more months away. So, I have plenty of time to respond.

Additionally, besides having a job, I also have a life and a 7 yr. DD who is currently off track (until Feb. 5th) My first priority in life is her health and happiness. In that vein, I will be taking her to San Diego next week for a few days so I won't be checking, or posting, anything while gone. Please be patient. I will get to all of you. :

Also, once you return, please let me know PM or posting, that everything went welll.

Finally, if you post a request on this thread, I will respond in kind. If you PM me, I will do same. However, if you post on the thread, please check the thread for my reponse. If I have months to go before your trade, I won't PM you right away, unless that's how you contacted me.

Okay, so as I look back, this may be partially a rant, but please, no one take it personally, understand that this swap is not the highest priority in my life, though I am happy to help you save a little $$. Thank you for reading. Terri

I too had problems with my DSL last night. Couldn't use it at all which only has added to my frustration. Today, I'm using my dial-up which is sooo slow, and I only have 10 hrs. a month to use. As of right now, I've used 1-3/4 hrs. today just to download some account info and check disboards. Plus, the *(%^$$# dial up froze-up on me twice this a.m. : Like I said, don't take it personally, and I should have an answer for you by tomorrow (Sat.) All the PMs I've downloaded are on the computer in our downstairs office which my sister uses for my mom and her's business and she gets so annoyed when I want to get on her computer. I don't know why! Once I check those, and the postings on this thread, I'll know if someone else already asked for those dates. Even if they have, you may luck out as they may have already found another swap. Thanks for understanding-Terri
