Michele- I read your post about the nebulizer. DD has one, but only had to use it 2x. She went into respiratory distress (grunting to breathe) last year and we didn't realize it. Called the doctor the next day to ask why she's grunting when she breathes. First time it was bronchiolitis, and the second time asthmatic bronchitis. But she was never tested for RSV because our dr. is old school. Anyway, you'll get the hang of putting the nebulizer together..just don't drop a piece down the drain like I did. (FYI, if you do that, you can buy a new tube kit for $10 from a medical supply store).

Yeah - the boys have a nebulizer too. Theyre a piece of cake.

And I went and purchased a little mini-travel one off eBay - for trips.

I arrived to quite a surprise today and I am happy to say that my baby is HOME!!!!!! We have ALOT to keep on him with. (Nebulizer, Inhaler, medicines, suction...) but I am soooo happy!!!!!

Hi everyone!

I got a job at Yankee Candle yesterday! It's seasonal, that's okay though, I start on Monday.

I had the Disney College program presentation on Wednesday and since we were a small group we had a group interview. She said we all did good. Now I have to not so patiently wait to see if I got in.

Hi gang,
Good news. We play the New york state lottery at the fire house. It is 10 guys that chip in. We hit last night for $5,000. Thats $ 500 per guy. So i got $500 last night. Then i get home from work and thier is actually parking right in front of house. Here in nyc sometimes you can drive around looking for parking for an hour or more. So i parked and thought how much better can this day get, i was'nt in the house more than 20 minutes and my phone rings. My sister in law's water broke and she went into labor, currently she is at the hospital in full labor and ready to deliver any minute now.She was due in one week. I will be an uncle by the end of the day! I plan on going to the hospital tomorrow, since i have to go into work tonight. Can you say Unlce P.J. I already bought " my uncle loves me" Bibs!!

My sister in law's water broke and she went into labor, currently she is at the hospital in full labor and ready to deliver any minute now.

I thought, "Aw, how sad, she's at the hospital and her water isn't working at home." But that's awesome! Congrats on everything!!!

Well it's offical i became an uncle at 7:19pm friday!!!!!!!! How cool is that, i was so nervous, you would have thought i was either the father or having the baby myself. She is the most preicous thing i have ever seen!!!!!!!! Its a girl by the way!!!! Not sure of the weight. I was at the fire house when i got the call, I started to tell everyone and the chief let me borrow the command car and me and him took a ride to the hospital. He waited downstairs in the car and let me run upstairs to see my new neice.

Jada, Michelle. I might be spelling the Jada wrong. Anyway she was 8 pounds 1 ounce and 20 and a half inches.
Here are a few pics of her, she was 25 minutes old. Could you imagine 25 minutes old. I have socks older than her.

Disabled Guests Sue Disney World for Its Ban on Segways


ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- Three disabled people have sued Walt Disney World for not allowing them to use their Segways to move around its theme parks.
The plaintiffs are each able to stand but cannot walk far, and they have been denied permission to use their two-wheel vehicles at Disney World, according to the federal court lawsuit.

The suit filed Friday says they're among an estimated 4,000 to 7,000 similarly disabled people who have turned to Segways as mobility tools.

A group called Disability Rights Advocates for Technology, which raises money to donate Segways to disabled U.S. military veterans and pushes for their acceptance, previously asked theme parks to lift bans on the devices. Group co-founder Jerry Karr said Segways offer more mobility and dignity than wheelchairs.

Disney says it fears Segways could endanger other guests because they can go faster than 12 mph.

"We've made our position very clear on these Segways in our parks," Disney spokeswoman Jacquee Polak told the Orlando Sentinel on Friday. "Our primary concern is the safety of all our guests and our cast members. We have a long history of being a leader in creating accessible experiences for our guests with disabilities."

Plaintiff Mahala Ault, 33, has multiple sclerosis; Dan Wallace, lost one foot in an accident and Stacie Rhea has Lou Gehrig's disease. The suit did not give their hometowns, saying only that Ault and Wallace are from Illinois and Rhea is from Iowa.

Just doing a quick run in ! I have been up to my ears doing Christmas cards for people ! I can hardly believe it is that time of year again. Thanksgiving is in less than 2 weeks already !
