Wow, those are some eccentric earrings!

I wanted to tell everyone...I'm feeling much better today. I feel strong enough to go for a jog (although I'm not gonna try it), and I feel happy. For a while I thought it would be months before I could smile again...there was so much sadness running through my veins, but now I feel joy again, and realize its a brand new day. Yes, I'm still sad when I think back on last week, but I know I'll be okay. Thanks for all your prayers and support.

I'm so glad to hear that Rebecca Don't overdo it and just keep taking it a day at a time - we are here if you need us !

Rebecca - You know, I know the situations are different, but I remember after our son died, I thought I'd never smile or laugh again as long as I lived. I remember the day I did - Casey had been playing dress up as I sat on the couch downstairs & stared out the window (she was 4, her mom was depressed, she improvised)...anyway she came downstairs with all kinds of princess garb on, AND my makeup & said "Mommy, I'm a princess" ....& while I didn't say it outloud, I thought, no honey you look like a hooker! hahahahahah I started laughing and it hit me - WOW I can laugh! So that's a long story to make a point huh? I'm glad you're catching yourself smiling again

Grace ate a TON of mashed potatoes last night! So I hope we're past the worst of the tonsil junk....I think we may play outside for a bit today. Tomorrow I'm going to try to take the kids to the zoo.

We are throwing a surprise party for my dad's 50th birthday Friday and we are going to Lousiana to go gambling on Saturday. I've been running around so much these past few days getting stuff for the party.

My fave chips are nacho cheese doritos!

A few days ago, Jul found her backpack for school at TDS. It is fairies and she just freaked out. We got the lunchpack that attaches too.

Anywho, the gal at the store showed me some super cute jeans with Tink on them. They are kinda like the Jasmine jeans from last year (which of course will no longer fit Jul ). She said she was working on putting them out so I am going to go next week and get some for the school year. There were other jeans and jackets as well.

I just love that stuff!!

I love TDS !! Ella loves her fairies and princess too. I found the cutest lunchbag that she would love the other day at Target. She has NO use for a lunchbag - but I still considered it

For years, I have kept a lunchbag in the backseat of the car with snacks in it. It keeps snacks handy at least. It keeps the whining at a minimum. I keep fruit snacks, goldfish individual packs, even juice boxes that don't have to be really cold to taste good. When we go somewhere, even an errand, she has something if she gets hungry or thirsty and I don't have to bicker with her to wait til we get home.

My car has a Hello Kitty one and DHs car has a Dora one that DD got when she was like 2 as a gift. The Hello Kitty one is so well insulated that the juice boxes are never warm or hot.

I am all for anything that keeps the peace.

Chris--Thanks so much for sharing I actually thought about you and how much harder it would've been for someone who was further along or lost a child, but that was the same feeling I had. The first time I smiled was when DD decided to start chasing "grandpa." (My parents came up Sat to take care of DD while DH and I were numb. They'll be here till tomorrow or Fri) So I see my 2 year-old chasing my 62 year old father around the kitchen. I smiled and thought, wow, I'm actually smiling.

SO CUTE!! I like the ice cream bar ones. I think it is b/c they remind me of the mickey bars. So fun!! Have you made mickey head earrings?

great idea! we do this too! we have a small playmate cooler in the van and a tinkerbell insulated lunch box in the Honda I LOVE it! we even throw some snacks for us in as well

Whats doing??? How's everyone?? It's starting to cool down a bit here but is still in the upper 80's. I have work again tonight, i owe one of the guys at the fire house a favor and he asked me to cover his shift tonight, so i have to go in and cover his shift. I am just now getting home and it's 12:45am here Had a crazy busy day and glad I am finally home. I feel like I didn't stop all day !!

Went to dinner tonight and had one too many "slushies" as my family would say at our all time favorite mexican place to eat.

BF had a great birthday ! Corteo was a little bit of a disapointment though ! It was good - but very mediocre compared to the others ones I've seen ! Nothing that really WOWED me !
