OK, a lovely lady on the design boards did this design for us! Tell me what you think. I got chills and choked up, but that's probably just me.

It gets me all chocked up. I am also a proud National Guard wife as well. Luckily right now I have my DH stateside for a few more months.

btw,if you guys are interestied why i was at medal day,i will tell.Something i am very proud of.Me and the other 3 in fdny uniform,pulled a 18month old out from the bottom of a swimming pool dead,we got him back and 9 days later this little kid walked out of the hospital fine and made a full recovery.Over my time i am recieved many medals but this one was the one that made me so proud of what i do and how i changed one familys life.

Wow - What a wonderful thing !! I am sure his family have no words to repay you .... I can't even magine !

If you lived closer I would offer to watch her all the time! I love little kids! Especially girls. I get sooooo stinking tired of Army men and Star Wars and shoot em up games. Blech. Gimme a girl to take with me for pedicures and stuff and I would be happy happy! But the beauty of it, she then gets to go back to YOU all spoiled!

DH just came home early to take DD to the playground...so I get some DIS time! I need to:

1. Make a packing list
2. Go shopping for toddler interest keepers
3. Pack
4. Buy more stuff I forgot
5. Drive 3 hours to the airport!

Oh yeah...I have a job interview tomorrow to be a normal plain preschool teacher instead of a crazy grey-hair growing stressed out daycare director. I was so nervous they were going to need me to start before Disney, but at they rate they are moving (applied Sept 1) I won't even get an offer in October. I hope it pays enough. Its a 9 month position, 180 days.

Print off a packing list! Then just check off the stuff you plan on taking. Some of these lists I have seen include everything under the sun!
Shopping is always fun so that should be easy! (try the dollar stores, inexpensive and if they break or get lost who cares?)
Packing is always good. Essential when traveling!
Buy more stuff! (refer to my shopping comment)
THREE hours? yuck. We are only 1.5 hours away but we are getting a hotel the night before our plane leaves so I do not have to get up at the butt crack of dawn!
