Thats my name - Cathryn Rose and then I have a last name too.

I have 2 boys - Cathryn and Rose wouldnt suit them well. Theyre Joey and Danny. I like very BOY names.... no messing around.

As of right now i could not find a costume,dw wanted me to bring my FDNY turnout gear and wear it,but it is way to heavy and really not comfy to wear for 20 mins,i don't think i could make it all night with it on.Not to worry me and dw are going to a few costumes places tonight to look around,so maybe i will have something by tonight.

After the whole sept 11 thing,the fdny wanted to show its members that it was ok to be upset,even cry.They used this members pic,as a way to show us,i really loved the sig so i used it.

btw,if you guys are interestied why i was at medal day,i will tell.Something i am very proud of.Me and the other 3 in fdny uniform,pulled a 18month old out from the bottom of a swimming pool dead,we got him back and 9 days later this little kid walked out of the hospital fine and made a full recovery.Over my time i am recieved many medals but this one was the one that made me so proud of what i do and how i changed one familys life.

Not to worry,i can find humor in anything.your far from out of line,the helmet gives me a stiff neck if i wear it for longer than 25 mins,it is a lot heavier than it looks,we plan on going looking later maybe i find something.

and YAAAAY for holidays next year!!! do you know where you guys are staying yet?? i'm thinking POP again, mainly b/c that is where the rest of our group is going..BUT since we are not doing the parks that much, we're not sure where to stay!! i was thinking WL! DH wants the GF, but i still think the kids are too young to enjoy it there. sooo who knows! haha!!! I do love CSR though!! see i can't make up my mind and i have to book next month!!

I am not sure when our dates are yet. I think the week before Christmas or right during. I need to firm up my dates so I can get them booked here within the next few weeks.

One day we will stay at the GF but not for awhile. I had a good friend stay there with her 3 and 5 year olds and she really felt they would have been better off at WL or even Poly.

We stayed at AKL for 8 nights in May and then moved to Universals RPR for 4 days. Both were heaven. At AKL the highlight was the animals for both my kids. I really debabted staying there but it really felt like home to us.

Now don't get me wrong - we love Pop as well. But Pop has much more of the "party" atmospere. Know what I mean ?! We really love Pop. I read some people's bad reviews about it and I am really stunned.

I consider myself a hotel snob. We travel quite a bit. I'd say we go to Vegas 4 times a year - at least and only stay at the nicest places. So if I like Pop I don't see why anyone else wouldn't ?!

I didn't really know it was a dress-up kind of place (1900 Park Faire)...but I did just buy her a princess dress to bring...maybe that'll be the occassion.

Oh Nanu dress her up. We are eating at 1900 Park Fare as well and Ella has her Cinderella dress !! She also has a Belle dress that she is going to wear to the Princess Storybook Lunch.

Ok, so it looks like we might have a few people interested in meeting at MGM.
I would say between 5:45 and 6pm near the ToT. I do not remember exactly how it is layed out, but near the start of the que I guess would be fine. This is a quick meet and greet and photo op. PLEASE join us if you can!!! I know we all have plans and so if you can squeeze this in, it would be great! Maybe we can all head over to Fantasmic together after the pic! Just a thought...

Wishes Meet on 09/30/2006 (Night of Spectro)
We could meet at 9:45 PM me if you would like to meet up.

Ok, on Saturday 09/30/2006 there are two diffrent Spectro parades that night. Is anyone going to Magic Kingdom that night ? I would love to see if there will be other Poppers or DISers there !! We can meet at the "secret" meeting spot for Wishes and watch them together.

Our family will be attending (or trying) - with a 2yo you never know ! Anyway , we will be trying to attend the 2nd showing of Spectro. After our Wishes meting we could always go get our seats for the parade together as well.

I guess the more of us there are we would save our spots for the parade !!
