Im not the one planning the meets, but I dont see why munchkins cant come... ??? Anyone?

Ill bring mine too - although mine are old-munchkins, 11 & 15.

We can toss 'em in the pool! YAY! :woohoo:

You don't look old enought to have a 15 year old!
Glad to know older kids will be there too. I am sure Ry will head straight for the pool!

Amen to that! :thumbsup2

I too am bringing kids to the meets. I have a 4 yo DS and a 6 yo DD, who will absolutley talk your head off!!! :chat: :hyper2: :chat: :hyper2: etc., etc., etc............ UGH!!!! :headache:

Denise

Well I enjoy talking so that would work. Plus my son can be a social butterfly too. He will probably rally the troops in a game of Marco Polo in the pool! :cool1:

my kiddies are tiny, so DH will most likely make an appearance and then take them back to the room if they get sleepy. But we'll see!!

Oh but I do.... and I have the wrinkles, stretch marks and sagging tata's to prove it! Although I will not be whipping them out at the meet! :teeth:

OK, I won't have any kids to bring to the meet on 9/30, but my DH will be so tired and cranky that he'll be acting like a kid! We have to leave our house at 4 AM to make our flight, so we'll both be a little worn out, since we really are old folks! We're both in our middle 50's (no more specific information on that subject will be forthcoming!), but look and act a whole lot younger. We're really just very old kids, at least in our heads. The bodies are starting to act a little tired now and then!

We stay so young by spending so much time at WDW where we can be kids and no one gives it a second thought.

I'm jealous of all the single-digit people, but at least I know that my time is coming quickly, and I have so many things to do before then that the time should fly right past!

First, to those who've mentioned teens at the meet... thank goodness! My DD15 is hoping to meet some new friends to hang out with.

Second.... this is my last double-digit-day :woohoo: :yay: :woohoo: :yay:

I'm sure my DS 14 will be VERY interested... :rotfl2:

OK, how about a meet for the early birds? I can't wait until the 29th! That's our last night there! Anyone have a good day/time?

My only WDW nightmare (so far!) is that I suddenly realized we had been there for 3 days already and hadn't left the room! We just FORGOT to go to any parks, our ADRs, or anything! :rotfl2: :confused3

I used to look (and act) younger than I am, but I've had a bad year! I lost my oldest DD (she was 33) in May. She'd been ill since February, but it was still a shock. During all those months, I neglected my own health. I finally started going to doctors in June. I was diagnosed with Lupus and liver damage. I am feeling better, but definitely not back to normal. I feel sooooooo old now! I am losing my hair (due to the lupus), I am swelling up all over (due to the med for the lupus), and haven't been able to work since the middle of June, due to fatigue, shortness of breath, and pain. I also can no longer drink! I wasn't a big drinker before, but was looking forward to being able to get a drink at WDW with my son for the first time! I am debating renting an ECV. I'm pretty sure I will need it, but am terrified of trying to get it on and off the buses!!

Anyway, didn't mean to be a downer! I will be at WDW with my son, celebrating his 21st birthday! :teeth: Actually, his birthday was in February, but that was when my DD got sick, so we obviously couldn't come then.

2 weeks from today for us! :Pinkbounc :bounce:

DD and DS play Marco Polo all the time. Funny thing is, that neither one realizes that a pool should even be involved. :lmao:

Heck, I'm only 30 and my tatas sag!

AllAboutPluto - I'll meet you sometime! I'll be there from the 22nd to the 30th.
Here's the schedule
22nd - MNSSHP
23rd - MGM, Epcot, wishes cruise
24th - AK and Boma. The evening would be a good day for a meet - we're free after 7.
25th - MGM then Pleasure Island
26th - rest, downtown disney day
27th - Typhoon Lagoon then Epcot
28th - MK. Free after 9
29th - Epcot. I'm going to try and make the meet this night, but our coral reef reservation isn't until 8:30, so we might be late.
30th - Leave. :sad2:

CDooBee - I have that dream all the time! It gets on my nerves! I get so mad!

Also, I'm very sorry for your loss and your health issues. I think an ECV will make things much easier on you. WDW can be tiring even without the extra walking!
