DH, DD 6 and myself are staying 9/29 to 10/4. We are newbies. What do I need to do to specify a building? What building is good? I appreciate the input. Thanks!

Hey... this will be our 1st time too at POP and we decided to go potluck my only request was near the parking lot and ground floor since we are renting a car for the duration of our stay/ Originally that's why we chose to try POP was because of the great review about its Bus System but I have been to spoiled having a rental so we ended up renting one again! Goodluck on your quest for a great location and dont forget to check our DIS Meet Dates... We will be arriving and living the same time! Hope to see you there!

I'll drink anything if you call it beer. Other than that, I pretty much stick to whiskey and scotch and the like.

Southern Comfort and ice is a personal favorite. SoCo is a local favorite around here, you guys think they have that at the resort bars? With all the fuss over liquids on planes now, I'm not even going to bother trying to bring a bottle with me.

And, I am getting more and more excited as the days go on. Though, I seriously need to revamp my ADRs and I am really dreading that task.

38 inches wide, I still have to get the exact measurements from my friend but it was about 75 inches tall.

It's getting closer!! I'm almost at the one month mark!!

Btown, you'd better do it soon. I called late last night (so late, I honestly didn't think they'd still be open!) to revise some of mine, and I had to be VERY flexible in order to get what I wanted. But, I guess because it was so late (9pm central time), I got right through to someone and she was super nice...it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it might be!

I got the last table for the Princess Storybook Lunch in Norway...we'd been debating if we wanted to keep our Whispering Canyon Cafe dinner ressies, but with all the bad reviews lately over on the dining board, we decided we'd have more fun with the princesses (yes, just the two of us big kids! We like character meals!) So now instead of having a 5pm early dinner, we're having a 2:40pm late late lunch :rotfl:! I just hope Ariel is there that day, as she's the one princess I really want to see :teeth: !

Ok, I think we're finally happy with our ADRs, so it's time to post them!

9/30 - Raglan Road @ 9:30pm (we arrive at Disney at around 4pm today!)
10/1 - Princess Storybook @ 2:40pm
10/2 - Coral Reef @ 11:30am
10/3 - Concourse Steakhouse @ 9:30pm
10/4 - California Grill @ 7:40pm (Celebrating our 4.5th anniversary tonight!)
10/5 - Beaches & Cream - no set time, probably early lunch
10/6 - Boma @ 4:30pm
10/7 - Le Cellier @ 7:10pm
10/8 - Lunch in AK (our last day-- boo hoo!)

Anyone match me?!?!

Ooh, just had to post -- I just noticed, ExPirateShopGirl and I have the exact same time ressie at Le Cellier on 10/7 - 7:10pm! Maybe we can say hi! :cool1:

Ok, three posts in a row. I'll stop now.

I have a lil proposition for all of your October POPers :teeth:

I can't bare the thought of spending $60 to rent a fridge when you can BUY a fridge for that price. I'm sure some of you feel the same. Anyway, I was wondering if one or more of you would be interested in chipping in on a fridge, and just leaving it for the next guest in the chain? I figure if we can find a couple/few of us that would chip in for the cost of the fridge, maybe we could just make a little chain like the decorations, or the old stroller swap.

I'll gladly make a Walmart run to pick up the fridge (or maybe even have it shipped to the resort - there's one for $59.88 on the Walmart site) then leave it for the next person. My dates are September 28th-October 4th. If there's anyone coming in before that wants to start the chain, that's great too. I can leave the fridge at the front desk, or if someone is checking in (or already checked in) we can meet and trade off the fridge.

Soooo. . . anyone interested? Just hoping there are a couple people willing to put $10 or $20 towards the initial cost (so much cheaper than renting)

I would love to get in on this but I will be there the 20th-27th (of Sept). I really don't want to "start" it, but if you can figure out a way to get it there a week early I would love to be in on it! I would leave it for you for the next day. I would contribute $10 or so!!!!

I just got onto the Walmart site and acted like I was going to check out - I can ship to a different address than the bill to address. So I'd be able to have it shipped and waiting for you at the resort (or if someone checking in before you wants to get in)

If a few other people (before you and after me) want to get in on this, could save us all a lot of money!

This is the cheapest fridge on Walmart.com

If anyone else wants to give this a go, let me know! I'm hoping we can get a little chain of a half dozen people willing to pitch in $10 or so.

You might get more responses if you start your own thread (especially on the budget board), since many of the late Oct people will see that this is for those going the first week only and may not read to here.
