There is a girl who wants to do this on Saturday the 15th at EPCOT - and Im all for it. I think we should hook up with her, the more people, the less cost.

I understand, but we dont have to hang with them. We're using them to cut costs. We're like Dessert Party Hookers.... And again, this sort of behavior AGAIN involving and all stemming from Colleen!!!

Well that's a good point! That darn Colleen.... always intermingling with other DISers! But hey if it saves me a buck or two, I might be able to be convinced!
I think my problem was I was feeling guilty about LORA having to pay for dining, cuz of ME wanting to me you guys. But she said its cool - she's not mad, she's totally okay with it all. And like I mentioned before, I want her and Bre to have a really good time, and I think POP will allow that better than Music.... I always felt dark and gloomy and ASMu...although I WAS there during Hurricane Jeanne.... perhaps thats why???
Good, I am glad she is chill! That makes it much easier!

Just got word that my mother in law is comingover for dinner on saturday looks like i have to come up with some good food! haha! blahhh i hate having company over!

Ohhhh have fun! Yeah I rarely entertain. Most people drive me batty!

This totally works! when we have the itch to eat out, we estimate the cost and then make something at home and put the cash in the Jar as though we would have eaten out!!

You know, Illuminations is not my favorite either... come to think of it, I have seen special places set up for Wishes too... maybe I could look into a dessert reception over there???? Anyone ever hear of any such thing?

They have one at Fantasmic, that runs the same price ofthe illuminations ones usually, but people can totally see what you alla re doing and even just stand there at the divider line checking it all out! hahah! (i've done this when we were deciding whether or not to do it for our wedding )

I hav not heard of anything for WISHES, though i could be totally wrong

The 15th would be doable for us if we got hoppers. Right now we have base tix. We are dining at Spoodles at 7:20, so we 'should' be able to get over there in time. I just wanted to be with you guys! I don't care if there are other people there, I would just ignore them!!! Maybe we can invade the Mexican cantina at like seven PM and get really liquored up and watch from there!!!!! That's my suggestion!!!

I havent' even begun to think about dinner, so maybe oven baked chicken fingers, some steamed veggies, potato wedges and fruit salad for dessert? it's nice and easy! hahaha! i think i could even toss a quick salad.

9/13-flying in, and hoping to make it to MK for Spectro Kona 5:00

9/14- MNSSHP Tonys booked for now at 4:35, but may change that I have read some rotten reviews?

9/15 - AK Spoodles 7:20

9/16- MGM Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package 4:20 may change this one too, again bad reviews?

9/17 - EPCOT LeCellier LUNCH 2:50

9/18 - MK CP 5:10PM May switch this and the first night for Kona here and CP the first night.....

we were like this the first year we went to Disney as a couple, then the next year when we stuck to the jar and our vacation and souvies pretty much paid for themselves it was amazing how much more dedicated we became!! Whenever i go to TDS if i don't have the gift card with us, we gather up our singles and 5s and get Disney Dollars that we stuff into the jar

Not yet, but I am about to head over to TGM and see what he says. Donna will send me best park recommendations and last year they were spot on! But I kind of want to have a game plan.
Ry and I really liked Mama Melrose's. It was good food, a nice variety and the flatbread alone could be a meal in itself!

We used to belike that, until we realized we have a whole lotta nothing! too many clothes, too many shoes (the entire family! even Gabriel has more shoes than i do! haha) too many purses, too many toys...everything! We would rather vacation ALOT! haha! Now we have the 50$ rule which helps alot!! AND if we break it by being spontaneous, then we are penalized 20$ from EACH of our weekly allowances!

(50$ rule= if it costs more than $50 you stop and think about it for 24 full hours, if you still think you need it then go ahead and get it, but if not, then you saved money!! we do this ALOT and 90% of the time we don't even want the item later!! haah!)

SERVICE FABULOUS! The Mozzerella and Tomatoes were AWESOME!!! but that was about all that we liked! i think because Sal is ITalian and his dad and fam make the real good stuff, we aren't big fans of anything else! I feel that way about Mexican food! haha!

The Gift Card only holds 1000$ so we try and fill it up every time, last year we had to take 2 downs! but our jar stops once the card reaches 500$ (if we have the dining plan) and then we start the jar for Next vacay

So our Goal is always to fill the card, but 500$ works well for us, because we usually go above and beyond

Without meals involved we alot 100$ a day in spending money for whatever. WITH meals we alot 200$ and it just gives extra padding in case we want to eat somewhere that costs more!

I know what you mean. To tell you the truth, the little nonsense items around the house that make me the happiest are the things that remind me of disney, souvies. All the other crap I kind of don't care about anymore.

I KNOW!!!!! we have a HIGH HIGH HIGH (thanks to the kids) shelf that goes all the way around our dining room and on it are all kinds of Disney Souvies that we loooove to look at and i love to dust, since it brings back memories an dour living room has framed Cells of movies and other neat framed items from THE WORLD. All that stuff we spend money on and adore...the rest...well we can live without the Nambe Egg shaped candy dish that rarely makes it out in time for Easter and then stays out year round after that!! hahaah! and the really cute Tiffany Butterfly lamp i had to have for the office desk (just looking around at stuff we didn't need!!) i know there is more!

BEYOND Paradise from Estee Lauder! i keep sniffing my arm i need to get that Vacay sleeve out, so that i have something else to smell!!
