Wow, it's been a long time. I tried logging on last week but it wouldn't let me.
So, what's new? Things are going ok here. I have not talked to Terry in about a week which makes me crazy, but i guess that is just the way it is right?
I wanted to tell TIMMY and MICHELLE thank you SO MUCH for the Valentines. It was so very sweet for you to think of me. I LOVE my charm Michelle. It is so cute.
I hope you all are doing ok and that life is good in each of your neck of the woods. I have been so busy, I hardly even get on the computer. My friends here have been great though and they help keep me busy on the weekends too which is helpful. I guess they are planning a party for my Birthday too. Yikes.
My Mom is in Colorado on vaca and she came down with salminila (sp?) so she is grounded until Monday. Her immune system is so trashed anyway, they are being very protective of her, which is good.
Anyway, take care and I will try to be better about stopping in to say hello.

DD is asleep. I actually fell asleep three times rocking her. I should've taken a nap, too...but no, I draw myself into the basement to do work. I've got 10,800 to spend. Problem is, I don't get the grant check until I can figure out exactly what I want, and then they might be out of money for the year. So I want to get the request in by next week.

Jul is back at school. I miss her. She was home all week. I have nothing but laundry really. I am getting highlights on saturday!!!

I had to work the book fair at school today...tonight is family night...so I'll be there then too...Spent a small fortune on books when Gracie's classroom came up..then brought Casey over & spent more! hahaha

I had to take DD to the dr's today. She's got asthmatic bronchitis. I started crying. I so wanted her to be one of the kids without asthma. Dr. says it looks like she's gonna have it now.

A LOT of times when kids are as young as your daughter is, and are diagnosed with asthma - they outgrow it.

Thankfully...my kids developed it AFTER your childs age, so they will have it for life!!!

I have asthma, and both my boys have it. I gotta tell you, Joey has had one BIG attack, Danny also has had one - not as bad as Joey's though (Joey was hospital bad) ONLY ONE in 15 and 11 years....I dont think thats THAT bad! And Joey is NOT on a "controlling" medicine, only rescue inhaler when needed, and Danny is on Singulair but only because he is a nasally kid too - so that gets rid of a lot of THOSE symptoms, too.

Ive been in the hospital a few times, *ESPECIALLY* when I was a pregnant with Joey (Danny for some reason, I was okay) BUT keep in mind...not while I was pregnant...but I was a smoker. SO, my lungs werent as strong, hence more hospital visits.

Its not the end of the world - Joey is still super athletic... I mean, you should see him in track! He can sprint faster than you can imagine.... he's crazy fast!!! And Danny also - theyre fine.

This is the biggest problem I, and my boys run into.... colds. If you get a nice juicy cold, and it drops to your chest, just be careful!!!! Thats what has put me and them in the hospital - chest colds. SO...be anal about hand washing and vitamins.... Its helped us, honestly.

I did my 2 root canal today and came to work and now on Vicodin for pain ... thank God I was on Vicodin but then it could have been a bad thing also... We were in discussion about work and consideration and favors. Well one of our Supervisor was being an A**H01e and I almost have lost it and quit. But then I had to remind myself thats what they want us to do, those who have been in service for 15 yrs or more. They push you to your limit so you'll quit. Well to make the long story short am still but manage to step back and look the other way. But i will def'ly remember what he had said!!

Consideration is not part of the Job and there is no such thing as "thank you for your help" because it is our job!

Im sorry. Ive worked for bosses who SUCK... Im fortunate to not be doing that now - in fact she is a peach, so so so sweet. But heck, the one I had when I worked in Florida, I swear to you - she gave me "the poopers" everyday...she stressed me out THAT much. I was taking my headache med's DAILY...it was terrible!!!

I sometimes wonder if having to work for her every single day, added to the sour taste in my mouth, Florida gave me.

So just remember - we've ALL had to work for "one of them" - and we all shout obscenities at them (in our head) and flip them the bird (in our head)

Or you could do what my g/f 's 15 y/o son told her to do when she was having trouble with her boss... "I would have told him to *f* off"

We laugh so hard about that one... Ummmm, I dont think he'll keep a job very long...looks like he'll be living with you for a long LONG time!
