Found a hotel for the WDW night....Best Western...it was $69 & it's not that far...



I'm also going to be going to DTD the morning after MK...so give me your lists at our meet the 17th! Casey wants to go to the 100acre wood & buy the $120 eeyore.

It's amazing how much better I feel! I should have just done it when I knew we were going to FL. I don't care if everyone else thinks I'm nuts! We're going to have lunch at Caseys Corner, Dinner at CP, watch Spectro/WIshes, ride the mountains, and see Philharmagic, sleep...go shopping & grab a sandwich at Earls....I'm HAPPY AS A CLAM!

BEST WESTERN - Did you check the resort board or post a thread about the Best Western? I always like to get feedback about where Im staying before I do it. Ive read a million times that the Sheraton Safari place is really nice, and is super close - AND Ive STAYED at the Hotel Royal Plaza, which offers a Mousesavers discount and it - was - devine! WONDERFUL!!! (Ill post a pic at the bottom of this post)

SOUVENEIRS - YES! I know for SURE that I want some Disney Mints from the Candy Shop. They have a big tin, and it's $10. I can take a pic of the little tin I have, so youll know which ones. Ill have to think if there's anything else I know I was sad about. Youre the best Chris! YAY!!!!

FEELING BETTER - I know.... I begin to think it IS like an addiction, like crack. Im sure if I was a CRACK ADDICT, and going to score a big load of it in Septemeber, Id be as happy and on cloud nine as I am now. ITS SICK! But I *LOVE* IT!!!!

Is it cheaper to buy one day non hoppers at the gate or order online???? anyone know

TicketMania or UndercoverTourist - again, through Mousesavers...(if you need a newsletter I can forward you one) Theyre great, Ive used them. If you just dont want to use them..... online is cheaper.




I did a 3-way call with Disney CRO and my g/f yesterday. So, she's alllll set at POP with me, and they noted 'Hopefully connecting rooms, possibly adjoining rooms, if nothing else - near by' I requested the 70's, cuz Ive never stayed in that area. I actually pulled up a POP map, and measured from the farthest part of 70's versus the farthest part of the 50's (where I ended up this past January....remember AllAboutPluto/Chris who piosted with us pre-trip...I seriously think I was in HER room!!! SO FAR!!!) ANYWAYS.... the 70's farthest is closer than the 50's.

I used a ruler, on a computer screen POP map. Pathetic!

OH - and has anyone eaten at San Angel Inn? Never ate there...thought it might be a nice change.

Morning everybody!!

Jul is home sick. She has been quite sick since sunday morning. Blah. So nothing going on today. Yesterday we watched cinderella 3 and I liked it. I am such a cheese. Anything disney just gets my blood flowing. I was telling Sean last night that you either have disney blood or you don't. Cut and dry.

Last night I ordered 3 things off of disney shopping. Yahoo!! It was a lil bit of a disney fix.

Oh, another cheese thing: on the cinderella movie there was a preview of peter pan and a preview of tinkerbell (the movie) and I wanted to CRY!! The tinkerbell one had this little girl following these dandelion type seeds into a park. They stop. She stops. She says "I believe" and they (turns out they are fairies) totally come to life spinning in light around her. I loved it.

Next:
I cannot decide. Sean travels to LA a few times a year. So should Jul and I go with him to disneyland or wait/hold out/save for WDW? I know land is nothing compared to world. I know that going in. But I do not want to think, man, I should have just waited for WDW.

Well, i have a DL bit that might sway you.... My friend who lives there and goes to DL dozens of times per year..just told me they added a "Storytime with" kinda like the WDW Belle one...BUT it's with JASMINE AND ALLADIN!!!!

Scrappin-when is this trip you are taking? Sounds like it is right around the corner! What does the rest of the trip consist of? I must have missed the entire story. I know you are fitting in MK for a day, but are you doing other stuff in FLA???? We have used ticketmania and were pleased. They sent out the tickets with a huge folder of all the pamphlets and coupon books that you could get like in the rest areas or the lobbies of the non-disney hotels. It got us in the mood.

Hey everyone, I just thought I would tell ya, I told my husband that I wished that we were able to go to Chicago for 3/17/07, and he told me to go. I would never go by myself! He said why not? DUH! I could never leave the kids, nor do I have the guts to go someplace by myself. Oh well. Just know that I would have loved to meet up with you guys. Maybe we could all come out in the summer if you have a meet!

Sorry for all the colds the kids have! I got a head cold on Sunday, but feel much better now. The little one (DS) has a runny nose, but all else is ok here. Hope you all feel better.

I know, I know, I know.... but something that I always try to keep in mind, is that you are going to a highly tourist'ed area in a seriously tropical climate! Bugs made me want to curl up my toes and run! The thought of "International bugs" or scary biting bugs or ANY bugs FREAKS ME OUT!

THAT is why Im anal about where I stay. I know... 8 hours, big deal...if it were HERE! but not in Florida. I wouldnt do it. Im a wuss.

I told you guys about the GROSSSSSvernor, right??? I had to go to the Lobby, wet hair, no bra in jammies and demand money back cuz there were bugs everywhere!!! ****HEEBIE JEEEBIES**** It was horrible.

Scrappin-when is this trip you are taking?

We're going to Fl for spring break March 21-April 3. We rented a house in Cape Coral with 2 other families. Dh's parents have a winter home there as well, in Ft. Myers so we're staying with them 3 nights before and 2 nights after our week in the rented house. All 3 families get in at different times/days....so I have Thurs, Friday and Saturday before everyone else gets in....I asked the other moms if they wanted to sneak in WDW for a day & they said I was nuts - ok I am, it's a 3 1/2 hour drive there and another 3 1/2 hours back. I talked with my girls, they really want to go....I hemmed & hawed...& decided no.We all decided to go to Busch Gardens together (all 3 families)....ok so I was "set".....but this little tiny almost tinkerbell like voice in my head just wouldn't SHUT up! HOw could you go to Florida and NOT go to disney - it's your favorite place in the world.... I was scrapbooking last week at a local store, who's owners are dvc members and they are disney crazy too...she said to me "I know it's ok with you now...but is it going to be ok when that plane lands back in Chicago and you didn't go?" At this point I can see myself kicking myself in the rear for not going. So that night I say to dh "WWYD?" He says " I don't like Disney" I said - ok what if there were a Grateful Dead show 4 hours away (he's a former deadhead)...he said "Well I wouldn't be asking my wife if I should go, I'd be getting in the car"..THAT sealed it! I NEVER get dh's blessings to go to WDW. So then I decided tofind a cheapie hotel for the night, stay for wishes, sleep, eat bfast/lunch at DTD and be back at the rented house by 5pm that night. My girls are thrilled! Casey's comment was "it's about time you decided to go mom - it was killing you" hahahahah

Now I'm onto the hotel phase....I'm gonna look over at the other board today. Cat I checked out both of those & they're booked the night I need....That's my other issue! It's freaking spring break! Although when I called for dining, there were even CRT tables open for lunch. so who knows..I need a hotel for under $100 for the night.

You should TOTALLY Get your behind on that plane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There's LOTS to do here!
