"Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time. Whether I like my
room or not doesn't depend on how the furniture is arranged .. it's how I
arrange my mind. I already decided to love it. "It's a decision I make every
morning when I wake up. I have a choice; I can spend the day in bed
recounting the difficulty I have with the parts of my body that no longer
work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the ones that do. Each day is a
gift, and as long as my eyes open, I'll focus on the new day and all the happy
memories I've stored away. Just for this time in my life. Old age is like a bank
account. You withdraw from what you've put in. So, my advice to you would
be to deposit a lot of happiness in the bank account of memories! Thank you
for your part in filling my Memory Bank. I am still depositing."

Remember, pray to God for these five simple rules to be happy:

In the thread where "Iwasatwdwforamonth" was crying about her tags getting erased, Anewman said he wanted a short tag or something like that. He got "ABC, I said I wanted "123" and I ended up getting "231"

Had a brainstorm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dw has a b-day on the 22,thats in 2 days!!! I was thinking of a nice piece of jewerly and dinner. Then it hit me!!!! Why not have dinner at........................WALT DISNEY WORLD. I mean, why not. Ds has no school this week until monday. This is bad,but i will have to pull my aunt/uncle got into a bad accident in florida and i have to rush there, right away with my job,I know it sounds like a dirt bag move.The FDNY will only give you time off this soon is for family emergencys,only. Vacation time has to be asked for 2 months in advance. I will have to call dw's boss maybe tomorrow and ask if she can have sometime off. Ds is off until monday.I guess it's worth a shot., i'm thinking maybe we leave wedensday (early afternoon) and return sunday night. Thats a quick 5 day trip. Any suggestions or ideas?? I'm gonna run and look up air fare and pop century and try to price the whole thing. Still just an idea, nothing set in writing yet.

You could give it time until everyone can get vacation time and go for a long weekend or something like that and just book ASAP and print out the confirmation and stick that in the card, that way it's still a surprise.

I just couldn't lie about a family member, probably b/c it would come true with my bad luck

I know, it's a dirt bag move to lie like that! I start that rescue school on march 17 it last's until nov 17.This is the only week that ds is off from school. I think this week is my only chance to go,until november.As of right now it's not even a option anyhow, i was just quoted 4 grand for round trip flight for the 3 of us.

Its a dead issue. I can't find cheaper flight them 3,500 grand(round trip) but even more,there is no on site wdw hotels with rooms open for these dates,other than the contempoary at $2,700 per night.So i guess that sloves that issue. Oh well.

Morning.....here we go again...Grace woke up at 3am with a fever of 102.5.... she finally feels cool now. We slept on the couch together - ouch my neck hurts

I didn't want to go to the gym anyway

ok, so what a busy weekend everyone must have had,,,

no comments at al about my retail therapy! I think you guys all need some.

Found a hotel for the WDW night....Best Western...it was $69 & it's not that far...

Even called disney dining yesterday & got dinner at the Crystal Palace for Casey! Now I just have to figure out enough time to sit in Adventureland and find Jasmine.

Went to TDS and got tons of clearance stuff....yippee

Timmy - I'm looking for the new Jas jammies....my DS didn't have the XL, I got Grace the new slippers and the new pillow...can you look for the Jammies for me?

I'm also going to be going to DTD the morning after MK...so give me your lists at our meet the 17th! Casey wants to go to the 100acre wood & buy the $120 eeyore.

It's amazing how much better I feel! I should have just done it when I knew we were going to FL. I don't care if everyone else thinks I'm nuts! We're going to have lunch at Caseys Corner, Dinner at CP, watch Spectro/WIshes, ride the mountains, and see Philharmagic, sleep...go shopping & grab a sandwich at Earls....I'm HAPPY AS A CLAM!

Then it's on to planning our next trip......I'd like to do a cruise I think...should I do a 3 or 4 ? You know my girls are all about the characters...is there a lot of character interaction on the boats???
