I've been in a Hurricane in both September and October, but it's no big deal. If you go later in October, you will be better of Crowd wise, b/c if free dining comes out it's going to be CRAZY!

HOWEVER november has the best crowds EVER! i can't wait until we start travelling in November again! and you can't beat the weather in November either! esp. at the time you are travelling!

Question:
We are really thinking hard about our trip. I would like to take jul to mnsshp sometime when she is a kid. So Sean said let's just do our trip then. I get nervous for hurricane season though. If we did, then we would go in nov. in 2008. What do you think? October or November? Help!

Jen... so far we had done MNSSHP a few times now and had not experience crazy hurricane events... the worst one we did was driving under hurricane jean... the 1st time I heard the beeping sound on the radio followed by "THIS IS NOT A TEST" I still didnt believe it... our regular 18 hour drive got us there for 14 since there was nobody driving but us ! By the time we got to WDW it was nice and clear for the whole week.. but we do our MNSSHP always on the 1st week of OCT dont know if that helps your question.... Juls left for school already ??? what time did you wake up ?? had your breakfast ?? I am eating brown rice now.. thats about it and ginger ale soda

We LOVE MNSSHP, it is a blast!! but if we go by last year during free dining time, NO it was not worth it! haha! but we are totally babied by GREAT crowds and weather before...sooo needless to say, we will not be going at that time again. We will however make an attempt at a MNSSHP b/c it's soo fun, but it will def. be later in October.

But yes, November is the best. The weather, the christmas decor, the crowds!!

Hi guys...I got a cold. Its because I started a diet. My body is punishing me for taking away all the starchy fats. I was so proud of myself this morning for remember all DD's stuff this morning...she needed diapers, wipes, bedding, a bib, drinks, and lunch, and I remembered it all. BUT, I forgot my lunch and my protein bars. I think it'll be faster for me to go to the grocery store and buy a new meal then to drive home and get one. I usually eat those Healthy Choice meals.

ohhh I need to do this with you... the diet thing... if you notice the pics when I was between Cat and Jen ... looks like a pepperidge farm light bread with a ton of meat in the middle..

Yeah. I took Jul to school at about 7:45. I get up a little after 6.

How is the weather in Nov? And when do they put up all the Christmas Deco? I am going to book my trip sometime this week for Nov 15-19!!!!!

Tink, we will head down there the day after thanksgiving most likely. The weather is beautiful! And the decos are up. WS has santas from all around the world. It rocks. We wear light coats in the am and after dark. The weather is perfect during the day.

DMM, are you using the 2007 Passporter or 2007 official guide?

Let's see the weather in November is FABULOUS! sweatshirt and shorts weather if you are from Chicago like me! if you are however from somewhere warm, it might already be cold to you! hahah!

Christmas Decorations
Christmas decorations at the Walt Disney World Resort usually begin going up around the first of November. The decorations are gradually added at night and are completed by Thanksgiving weekend. The decorations start coming down around January 1.

The Disney resorts are all decorated for the holidays, as are the theme parks. Each theme park will have an enormous decorated Christmas tree and so will the Deluxe resort lobbies.

The Osbourne lights go up around the 14th i believe and then the big stuff just sort of starts appearing over night around the 14th too! it's really neat!!

That would be me! Actually when we went in Dec '05 it was kind of warm. Hopefully it will be like that then.

hahha i know what you mean, i used to looove November through January in Florida! it was FABULOUS!!!!! but then when i was living out there and working for the Mouse, come any day that was below 70* and i had my winter coat on i got soo used to the warm weather!!

Hi gang,
I'm not sure about nov, but i can tell you that in 1999 from sept 2 to sept 10 and before ds, me and dw went to disney. We stayed at the all star music, the parks were empty the whole time. We never had to wait in any lines at all. I would love to go to wdw for christmas just once. al right gang, i got to get going in to the academy, have a great day all!!
