hahahah! that was me too! we didn't like ANY of the excursions that we wasted money on. We were actually planning on staying on the ship when we got to Naussau this year!

The prices are really expensive because most of the stuff you have to take a seperate boat to.

HOWEVER the private beach excursions are GREAt, though not really worth it, if you plan on hanging on the beach at Castaway! AND if you stay on the ship in the Bahamas, you get the pool mostly to yourself! :yay:

Cat, where does Danny like to eat? Did he pick anywhere? Jul loves CRT of course. She told me she wants to wear her Cinderella costume there next time.

Cat, Boma is supposed to rock!

Thats what the word on the street is!!! I suggested it to Jimmy last year, alllll excited with the printed menu in hand, and he made a total sour puss face!!! He was completly uninterested!!! :lmao:

When my family was on the inaugural cruise of the MAGIC, we did the Discover Atlantis and it was sooo fun!!! i of course skipped the giant aquarium, but other than that the hotel is AMAZING!!! DH and I have done it once as well. After a person does it once though, you kinda get that been there done that feel :)

Well, if youre there in Sept - let me know when! Im there 9.12 - 9.17! :beach:

And youre scared to hang with CAT with kids?? *I* have kids!!! Hell, I have a son who'll be JUST about babysitting age by that time.... 12 1/2! Hmmmm... :scratchin

Pleasure Island, anyone? :joker: :smokin:

Where am I eating? Mama Melrose Fantasmic Pkg - Garden Grill - Crystal Palace Bfast and Boma (never ate at Garden Grill or Boma before!)

:lovestruc

I really didn't mean that I didn't want the kids with YOU... I meant that I would have lots more fun with you without THEM!:woohoo: I'm all for the PI night out!!!!! :cutie:

I've never done MM, GG, only CP for dinner, and Boma for dinner. We loved CP for dinner! The character interaction couldn't be beat!

Damn, I have been gone a while! When?!??!

Well, Ive been with him forever and a day (5.5 years...) and we got "engaged" last Christmas...and were going to get married in Vegas in the summer of 2006.

But then we had a decision to make..... free dining at WDW or wedding in Vegas. Well, you know what we chose! :thumbsup2

So, we're doing a quickie courthouse wedding Friday so we can finally have
5ex!!!

:rolleyes1 And thats the truth! :rolleyes1

Wow, that's a long time to go without.... free dining!!!

I knew you've been perpetually engaged... glad to hear you're finally going to make an honest man of him! Congrats! I'll be thinking of you on Friday! Are you doing a little honeymoon or anything??

Ummm - Im going to my 15 y/o's cross town track meet that evening, does that count? ;)

No, no honeymoon. Poor Jim wont even be going to WDW with Danny and me in Sept. Doesnt wanna leave Joey home alone, and Joey doesnt wanna go.

And you should have seen after I told the boys we were getting married....they were happy, then a few minutes late Joey asks "so you guys are spending the night at a hotel that night, then? You wont be here?"

I saw his little  " :woohoo: PARTY AT JOEY'S HOUSE :woohoo: " wheels turning.

I said "No - we are not....nice try though"

That Joey... he's a clever boy. My 15 yo keeps trying to work it out so he can stay home alone too. Luckily, it's an easy two mile drive to drop him off at grandma's house if we do happen to be spending the night somewhere other than at home. :rolleyes1

Well, your wedding day sounds really romantic! :dance3: Too bad you couldn't sneak in a little WDW quickie.

Oh mom, you are NO fun! ;)

I can vouch for the fact that Boma is great. I can't wait to eat there again on the 21st! It's not fancy, it's kind of loud, and the food is great--plus we use the time before dinner to wander around the Animal Kingdom Lodge for a while and see the animals, then head to Victoria Falls (the bar) for a glass of South African wine before dinner.

As for excursions on the cruise--we did the Ardastra Gardens and City Tour on our last cruise, and really enjoyed it. I absolutely love flamingos, and I got picked to be in the show! If you click http://bethc1952nassau112005.blogspot.com/ you'll see my pictures from our stops in Nassau that cruise (we did back-to-back four-nights). After we left Fort Fincastle, the bus driver told us that he was heading over to Atlantis and would take any of us who wanted to go. We enjoyed seeing the hotel, and had a great taxi driver on the way back!

BTW, CAT: Congratulations on the wedding!

Afternoon everyone!!!! my appt is soon!

I never liked Uggs....ughh was what i thought! hahaha!

Beth, love the pics!!!!

Cat, you are too funny!~

We liked Mama Melrose alright, but most likely won't eat there again. However service was phenomenal!

Garden Grill food was okay, but the character time was AWESOME!! and they were soo much fun!!!

We too love everything about CP!

Never done Boma though, we had ADRs for last time, but with the kids, we just never got around to it!
