You can stay at Wdw for 5 days at a deluxe resort or 10 days at wdw at a value. Which would you choose????

I would stay POP(of course,look at the thread name) For 10 days.

i don't even have to think twice on that question.

Ok i'm been thinking of a few different things for dw for valentines day,we also are going away next weekend too, so maybe something small for her office can be delivered.
I wanted your opinions,


Would you perfer a dozen roses or a vermont teddy bear with a box of choclates?? I can't decide..

Vermont teddy bear and chocolates. I would love one. And godiva chocolates. Those bears are really neat.

I would want the chocolate and teddy bear. Maybe you could put a single rose with the bear.

Ok, so here goes the catch up again:

I drive a 2001 Camry I swore I would never drive a minivan nor a volvo wagon, because that's what all the mothers in town drove and I didn't want to be "one of them".... then we rent minivans in FLA and I love them, especially with the two kids, double stroller, and we bring my parents when we go...so, I wished I bought a minivan, but my payments stop in a couple of months on the camry, so i am going to keep that for awhile longer so I can catch up on all these WDW trips I have charged!

Vermont teddy, or Flowers.... well, we have too much stuff in this house, so I would want the thing that is perishable... but I do not like just roses so much, so I have always gotten a mix of flowers when he used to send them to me before kids of course! Now, keep in mind I am a cheapie... so I wouldn't want him to send me any flowers.... the only way I wouldn't be mad about the flowers/money, is if he got them like at Costco or something.

10days at POP or 5 at GF???? Well, who's payin'? If I'm paying... then POP/All Stars (because DD wants to stay at the "star" one again)... if I won a contest, then I would take the GF, because I know....no matter how much money I ever have in the bank, I would never spring for a deluxe, so it would be my only shot at it.

Now, keep in mind I am a cheapie... so I wouldn't want him to send me any flowers.... the only way I wouldn't be mad about the flowers/money, is if he got them like at Costco or something.

We'll be married for 5 years this September.

On the QOTD, I'd say it depends...I think I'd divy it up. Like one year to 10 days at pop and then another do 5 days at a deluxe...but in reality it costs like 3.5 times as much to stay in a deluxe. So its not really a 2x as much thing. Plus, I only get 1 week vacation, so I'd have to take a week unpaid if we stayed 10 days...I really liked pop, and it was touch decision to switch to poly, but it'll be a nice one time thing.

PATSFAN, being the cheapie that you are, how do ou feel about giving and recieving cards from DH?? I always say NO CARDS! they are ridiculously priced pieves of paper, that i throw away after a year of sitting in a drawer! BUT i'm only that way with DH isn't that wierd??

Me personally, I'd love the Teddy Bear, and add chocolates to it, Im in.

A lot of girls are Roses-girls, though.

Flowers die - Teddy Bears dont.

Me too - completly. Doesnt even have to be POP.

I personally cant belive how many people stay at GF, and POLY, etc...the thought of spending THAT much money on a room makes me wanna pass out.

No way. I'd rather stay longer.

But ask me after Ive won the lottery.

He slowly moved his things in, without me noticing in Dec 2001 - January 2002

To this day Ill say to him "You know, I never asked you to move in" And he will say "Yes you did, you asked me to stay!" And Ill say "I meant THAT NIGHT!"
