Since it's quiet - lemme ask your guy's opinion of the "new improved" kids menu....

You know - I have no idea why this even bothers me - I have "adults" in Disney's eyes.

But man - I cant get over the fact theyre pushing THIS stuff as a table service entree? Yuck.... Looks seriously unappealing, as a COUNTER service option, let alone... a table.

Well, I don't have another Disney trip pending, PLUS I've been spending tons of time posting over on the Dining boards, trying to calm some panic or other overreaction over some menu issue or other

They were doing promo's for the show and city tours - and came to Chicago. They'd sign autographs and take pictures with you!!

I was maybe - 14/15-ish. My g/f had a huggggge crush on both Johnny and Richard Greco, the other leading man. So my mom drive us to the city, super early, drops us off, she goes shopping and in line we got. We were maybe 50-75 people from "the front" SERIOUSLY close!!!

In line we get, and wait and wait and wait - like hours. They had us going through the L tunnels...like subway tunnels - to spread this line out longer. Well subway tunnels are kinda wide.

We're moving as the crowd moves. I wanted to lean against the wall. So, I moved up - just maybe 3 steps, past another girl...but only to lean on the empty wall.

This (*^&*^%&^*##$!!! gets security and says Im line jumping. Ive been there for like 4 hours! If I was gonna jump, it wouldve been a LONG time before that. And I would have taken my g/f along with me...she was still 3 feet behind me.

They kicked us out of line. The security guy tells us to get in the end of the line..... like, no kidding 30 blocks back...There was no way they'd take us...it was only going for like 3 hours.

My g/f was so mad at me...but kept saying, I know its not your fault, but IM SO MAD!!! I felt terrible.

And NOW with Johnny being so famous and all. I still every now and again get her saying to me "You know, we could have met him"

I tried it in the WS and loved it, but their prices were a bit steep so I bought it at the PX today. ( I LOVE having access to the military stores) I have also looked ALL over town for a red robe for Ryan's costume. He is going to be Sorcerer Mickey. Yeah, no red robes to be found. I might have to order it on-line... better head off to Google it!

Michelle, how are YOU doing? I hope things went as well as they possibly could at your uncle's wake.

I always use Salvation Army or other thrift stores for Halloween costumes. Just a thought...

Hi, all. How's it going? Life is slowly returnring to normal here...I REALLY need to clean my house...being gone for two weeks, I have dust and cobwebs everywhere, and enough dog hair to make another dog! LOL!

Anyone else who went to MNSSHP have the music from the parade stuck in your head? I woke up this morning humming the music from Goofy's float.. "Lollipops and lemon drops and jelly beans and chocolate.....Candy, trick-or-treat candy, scrumdidelumptious good to eat! Yummy yummy oh so sweet, my tummy's happy when they meet."

I STILL haven't downloaded the 600+ pictures from my memory cards, but I have 109 on my photopass. Not too bad...I was hoping for closer to 150, but oh well. I think we hit up every photographer on main street when we were in the Belle/Beast costumes, just hoping a couple would come out good enough to frame!

Thanks for asking, i'm doing well as is the rest of the family. The funeral was today and it was hard. His wife and mother were just not doing well at all. which is expected of course, i can not even begin to imagine how they must feel

Salvation Army is always a good stand by for me too. But I doubt they would have the kind of robe I need. I might just have to order the whole costume. I will look for one more day then I will hate to bite the bullet and get it.
It does NOT smell like patchouli to me. I live in the land of the hippies and they were that stuff all day everyday. Maybe it's in there and I am not noticing it. It says "Amber" on the top of the bottle.
Yeah and not only do people like different smells, but perfumes smell differently on different people too. Probably different chemical reactions?

It is a horrible situation to be in. Death never seems to make sense no matter how it happened. It's tragic and I am sorry again for your loss!
Hopefully the powers that be will find out what happened. I think there will be some sort of healing attatched to knowing the "why".

There are times when I want to shake my kid to see how many screws are loose up in his head.
My request is very simple. Put your dirty laundry in the laundry room. If it is in there, I will wash it. But I will NOT go from room to room to hunt down dirty clothes. He is old enough to at least put them into the laundry room. So this morning I am getting his uniform ready for the game and I can't find his blue football socks. I look and look and they are in his sock drawer. I pull them out and they are wadded up and dirty with grass all over them. Now mind you his room is right next to the laundry room, I am not asking him to walk to New Mexico to put his dirty clothes in the basket. So now I am washing his socks. I swear he is a great kid, but he MUST have gotten these little "quirks" from his Dad!

Well I asked for the names by the 31 of this month. And for everything to be mailed out the first part of Dec. I will repost the info.
