Yes, me again. Once I get going...
Anyway, have you all worn crocs to the parks? I have owned a pair for maybe 2 months. I like them, yes, but have never worn them in such conditions. We have always worn tennis shoes. ?
I got both Ryan and I Crocs for our last trip. I wore them a few times int he parks all day, and they were great. Ryan wore his everyday we were there. I brought extra shoes for him, but all he wanted were his Crocs. I LOVE them and find them to be very comfy.

Question: Kind of out there but on my mind. Do any of you use the disney rewards card? We recently closed our old card to switch to this one for the rewards. Do you get a discount anywhere at Disney with it?

You can get 10% of a the World of Disney store at DTD, I know that we got a 15% discount (which you have to ask for - it's not automatic!) on our behind the scenes tour...my advice would just be to ask if you can get a discount if you use your card, and see what they say!

I've tried to wear them...but found that after about 5 hours at AK, I had rubbed a blister on the side of my foot. They are very comfy, but with my high arches, wearing for too long doesn't work for me. But I did love them because I could get them wet and they'd dry very quickly (like on Kali). Those were my "regular" traditional crocs.

I also have a pair of prima style, and I don't think they're as comfy, and they don't stay on my feet as easily as the other style. I wore them to dinner several night, thought!

Hi all,
Your wondering aren't you, where did i go? Well i did not go anywhere, sadly i've had no power for the last 24 hours. So i'm home last night around 11 pm and sitting in my living room watching t.v. and all my lights start flickering. Out of no where i hear a huge explosion . Car alarms and house alarms are going off, and when the boom happened my whole house shook very bad. Now my lights are going on and off , I start thinking now what. The explosion woke ds and dw up. I go look outside and right in front of my house the man hole cover is off its cover and there are flames and thick black smoke pouring out of the man hole. So i grab my phone and began to 911 call and it's ringing and all my power finally goes dead, along with my phone. I have internet cable and modem that supplys my phone it needs power to work, so i go back inside and grab my cell phone, but now i can here the FDNY comming with there sirens blasting. So i don't bother calling 911. The Transformer that supplys power to my whole block has overheated and exploded , believe it or not this is common in brooklyn in the heat and happens alot in the summer time in other areas of nyc, its never happened to my street.

So the FDNY pulls up and its confirmed the Transformer has overheated and is gone dead, along with my most of my block. I also know what this means, no power for us. This same thing happened in queens over the summer and the whole neighborhood was left without power for 9 days long in 90+ heat.At this point i have 3 fire trucks , 2 ambulances and 3 police cars all in front of my house. I have another worrie on my mind and so does the FDNY, when these things burn they throw off a ton of carbon monoxide. Before i can ask them what the levels are , 2 of the fire men come over and ask my wife to come into the house to check levels of co. Anyway i have several co alarms and none are going off,so i know my house is ok but my next door neighbor has very high readings.Anyway the FDNY vented her house and all was well. Con edison( power company in nyc) is here now and checking out the man hole. So just one hour ago all my power came back on ,but its only temp. Con ed has hooked up temporary lines for power right now But i am just happy to have power. So there it is , some how even off duty Trouble seems to find me and so does the FDNY.

Wow, that is scary. I wonder what caused it. Its not nearly summer.

Glad to know everything is ok PJ! Hopefully they fix the problem soon!

Hi Gang,
Not to worry ,mrFDNY is ok, i've been thru much more. However Very tragiclly when we lost all our power for 24 hours, well we lost a pint of ben and jerrys brownie batter in the freezer, Oh the humanity! :teeth: All right gang , i ahve to run to the fire house for a shift tonight , see you all later!!

Ok I am getting better slowly but surely. Austin is getting better.

And.... of course now Ella is sick. She has been throwing up since yesterday !! Poor baby. And all she wants is milk which I haven't been giving her since it will make her tummy worse. I have been giving her Pedialyte and she is NOT happy about it.

What did I miss - anything ? We were going to a pumpkin patch yesterday and with all our sicknesses going around and it snowed we ended up having to skip it !!

Hi,
Pedialyte makes a ice pop, my son seems to love it.

Okay, so I'm dreaming a bit, but if you every ate at V&As,

1. Would you do Chef's Table or regular dining,

2. How long would you starve yourself beforehand to make sure you could eat everything?

I had really considered V&A for our trip this last May and after going through some of the past menu's and reading reviews there is no way I could eat there. I am the pickiest eater known to man. Some of the things on the menu's that come up just don't sound apetizing to me me at all !! :confused3

I own 3 pair of crocs ( these don't even include my cute Croc flip flops) and I love them. This is all I bring when I come to Disney
