So far no rain for 10/5!! ( which means it'll probably rain about 20 minutes sometime that day. ) Yay!!! Hoping for a dry MNSSHP, after being soaked for MVMCP last year. It rained all day, they turned it off just long enough for the parade and fireworks & then it was pouring again. We needed a boat to get down Main Street when we were leaving. But it was still fun!

Good morning, all!

This is my last Friday in the office until after vacation! And it was payday, and there's money left after my bills are paid, so I guess I won't have to starve between now and free dining!

For some reason, poor Jim (DH) thought that TODAY was the day we were leaving! He seemed a little surprised this morning when I started getting ready for work!

The weather here is a bit warmer than it was yesterday, but now it's the height of allergy season for me, and with the sinus problems I already have (the surgery had to be postponed until after vacation) I'm absolutely miserable. I can't wait to get to Florida, because whatever it is that causes my allergies exists here in New Jersey but not in central Florida. I wonder if I could claim this vacation as a medical expense?

OK, I guess I'd better do a little bit of work today! I have to finish making a series of maps today so that I can spend some time on Monday laminating my Mickey heads!

Cathryn Rose has been on the road for 3 hours!!

And as much as she LOVES driving through the state of Georgia, she is going to drive through it wet!! That oughta make her appreciate this state more. We are supposed to get showers for the next couple of days.

Both kids are coming down with colds DS told me yesterday he had a throat! I am drugging them regularily to try and help the nastiness move along. Check this out.

On our first trip to WDW, DS came down with an ear infection, BUT we only found this out, cause we were already at the emergency room getting 2 stitches in his lip when he fell at the Contemporary. It was our first night!!!

I'd just like to say, you folks have turned me into a criminal. I definately took at least 10 alien green mickey heads today at home depot.. and some pink, black and purple to decorate with!

Second of all, ladies.. I need your help. I am trying desperately to find a costume for MSSSHP but I've hit a bit of a snag. Does anyone know where I can find plus sized costumes? Party City has them, however, their "plus size" probably fits a 12 or 14. I'm looking to be a slightly-sexy-but-not-offensive pirate. Anyone have any ideas? And sewing isnt an option, Unless someone is offering lol.

I considered getting a plus size pirate costume, but decided to go with a t-shirt. The sites that I ordered from recently that have them and have superquick shipping cause I got DS's and DD's costumes from them is spirithalloween.com and buycostumes.com. Spirit Halloween was soooo fast, but I believe they actually have stores open during the the halloween season, so there may be one near you. Check it out. I think the plus size is 18-22 0r 24 or something like that.

hmmmm... puffy shirt. You might want to look in the women's section. then cut out the tags, he'll never know the difference!
Or I guess if worse comes to worse you could always get a plain shirt (long sleeves) make it look ratty and attach ruffles/lace that you could buy at a craft department. You could even stain the ruffles with tea bags (the shirt too) so it isn't so fresh! Just a thought.

OMG!!! This reminds me of a Seinfeld episode with Jerry and the Puffy Shirt!!!! Has anyone seen it????

Blahhhhhh DS woke up with a teething fever so i gave him some medicine and fed him and then just held him until he fell back asleep that poor little guy. so here i am instead of cleaning b/c i am just too tired, it was a rough night for the little guy! i'm afraid to fall asleep b/c i know he will just be up in 5minutes to rub his back.

Oh No I hope it gets better today or him. Those teeth are no fun
