Okay, whichever one of us wins the lottery has to buy a Popgirls (and guy ) house in Orlando for all of us to go stay at. We could have family weeks and also girls (and guy ) only weeks. Doesn't that sound like so much fun. I mean, just decorating it would be so fun!!!!

Thank you soo much for posting this! i feel this way often. Like all the private schools, then college all out the window..it feels like i really didn't get enough time. sometimes i get into a rut and wonder what if. Then DH tells me to go out and do it and then i just can't imagine leaving them..it's wierd. so thanks! i never knew others felt this way!

I have a myspace too, but I'm having issues with it. I hate the combination of my different social groups. Like one of my employees found myspace, so I had to delete one of my college friends because he was very vulgar which I could deal with, but I didn't want my employees to get the wrong idea.

just got home but will try to go to bed early as in NOW... went home with a tooth ache ... I wonder why ??? doing a double tomorrow... 8A to 11P... with a toothache.. am poppin some antibiotics now.. I think this is it my dentist did say the next time I have problem with this tooth it would be root canal My january and February is going to be pretty hectic.. with the tooth the fibroid and the neck OK am mitchin' again sorry guys!!! I am oh so looking forward by April hopefully by then things would have mellowed out.. well as early as March would be even better when I get to see you all at PF Chang... UGH don't ask! I ended up meeting with one of my committee chairpeople for the auction for over 2 hours! She's in charge of the basket raffles & I thought she had a handle on it. After I got dressed yesterday she called & asked if I had a "minute" I said sure, I'mon my way to Starbucks...why don't you meet me there.............well I left Starbucks when it was TIME TO pick Casey up from school!!!!!!!!!!

I always wonder if I made the right choice.....I mean life is no where near what I had originally imagined it to be. After finishing undergrad and starting grad school I thought I'd be a working mom, IF I ever had kids. Then when Casey was born I freaked out!!!! I worked full time until she was 3...hating every minute of it. Then worked part time...Then when Patrick died i was like WHOA *** am I doing with my life! I need to stay home! I miss my job sometimes too and even wish sometimes that we didn't pay for those graduate degrees...but oh well.

went home with a tooth ache ... talk to you tomorrow nite...

YUCK! Those are no fun at all! I seriously think a toothache is the worst! Everything else there's some drug you can take! I've gone thru entire bottles of that teething stuff..ambesol? when I've had one!

ok now for the lotto question: I've actually thought abotu it before!

1) Pay off my parents condo and buy them a house by us, let them both retire.
2) hire s decorator to decorate/redo my house. I wouldn't move, I love our house, I just wish there were differnt things in it...like furniture that I didn't have to put together
3) travel somewhere every break from school the kids got...every single one. On the top 5 list: Austrailia, Ireland, Hawaii, Toyoko, Paris.
4) the first summer after winning - I'd so a DIsney tour around the world..visiting DL Paris, DL Toyoko, DL California, and ending at WDW for a month! I don't think I'd stay at POP.....but I also don't think I'd sta at GF....so who knows where'd I'd go.
5) Find some boy somewhere my son's age and give his parents enough money to completely pay for his college education.
6) Put money in trusts for the girls to pay for college.gradschool
7) Buy ALL new clothes/shoes/purses/& LOTS of diamonds
8) Buy a brand spanking new blue Saab convertible

Yes!! It is the most fun ever to stay up and chat, but then I cannot get up in the morning. I cannot stand that feeling.

I have a totally bad case of the Januarys right now. I, like you Chris, worked a little while DD was really little, hated it and stayed at home. Now she is in school, but I still cannot really make any life changes b/c she will still be home over the summer. So I wait. I know she will grow up soo super fast and I will miss her being a kid. That torn feeling. I really think it must just be January.

I did not want to watch the video, but I did. I don't like to see or hear anything that may alter my magical image of disney. So, it looks to me like the boy is seriously really holding onto Tigger's back when tigger goes to turn. If I were standing next to Tigger and he turned like that, my arm would simply fall to the side, not hold on tight. So I think the boy had a good grasp and maybe being he was trying to undo the closure?????

Maybe a stretch, but that is MO. Things happen though too, and I am glad the boy was not hurt.

Yeah, the tigger thing is pretty bogus. He was probably just fooling around the kid and hit him in the face by accident. Disney will probably pay them off though. I feel bad for the kid in the tigger suit who got suspended.

That's what I'm dealing with. I'm working but I feel bad I can't be with DD all the time. I feel bad when she's crying because she needs to wait for attention. I could've quit about 6 months ago had we stayed in our tiny condo, but I was feeling good about my job, DD loves school, so we decided to build a house with a yard and I'd keep working. Well, then I changed my mind. It seems that I can still quit and maybe watch another child in the home....but you really hit the nail on the head. DD is nearly 2 now, and she spends most of her waking hours with someone else. She's my kid, I want to appreciate her and spend time with her.

ETA: I understand for some people this is necessary to work, just to live...but I think if we can afford without, I'd rather stay home. I do wish I could find something to do from home though, for some Disney money!

Why don't you just go part-time? I think that would satisfy both of your needs.

I thought about getting a cheesy part-time (like one day a week) job in the shoe dept at bergner's, half for the entertainment and half for the discount. I have a bachelor's but I cannot use it right now.

Other than subbing, you could apply for a school year position at a daycare. I have two employees who only work during the school year. I get college students to fill in over the summer. You probably make more money subbing, but the consistant paycheck is nice.
