I definitely think we can arrange to meet for hot chocolate! Maybe we can even ride the chocolate world ride together and actually purchase the photo! Hershey is about an hour away, but I've been wanting to go to Harrisburg (next to Hershey) for quite some time to take DD to ChuckECheese, so we can make a day of it.

I don't know of any other coupons. Sometimes they have coupons for the Big 3D show I told you about, but I've only seen them 2x in my life. If I see some again, I'll send them to you. Its a shame you aren't going 2 weeks later. I could've gotten you tickets for $7.50, that include lunch. DH's company picnic is there, but he'll be on travel at the time, so we aren't going, but we still get to buy the cheap tix and give them to someone else if we want. They are only good that day though.

Hi gang,

just home from a double shift. A long 16 hour day, but i'm off until wednesday, but are going in on tuesday for overtime. It was off the hook today.

First i delivered my 9th baby at 12:02 pm, it was a heathy baby boy. I can't remember his name for anything, but i remember it started with a "c".

At 3pm, i hear on the FDNY Radio" Engine company #$# to brooklyn with the urgent message" This is a fire truck ,calling the dispatcher with a urgent message. What i hear next would make even me scared.

" Engine #$# to brooklyn, we been involved in a major accident, send help please" and the radio messages stopped. The dispatcher was trying to call them to figure out where they were. There was no response from the crew. All the mean time, i'm freaked out, cause this engine company are my guys. They roll out of my battalion. I know each and every guy working on the engine today and was just talking to them not 25 minutes ago.

Finally it comes thru 911, someone called 911 to report a "bad accident" involving a fire truck and its 9 blocks from where i am. It seemed like it took forever to get there, but after the call i checked and i was there in 1 minute 16 seconds. They were hit, no blasted head on by a drunk driver at a high speed. The impact so great it pushed the fire truck that was stopped in reverse 6 feet, by a small car. The car was driving on the wrong side of the yellow line, it was assumed after the drunk fell a sleep behind the wheel, the fire truck stopped for a red light and was not on an emergency call, but returning from one.The drunk was fine, no injurys, but he put 5 of my guys in the hospital and a fire truck out of service for the night.

All my guys were fine, the most severe was 3 stiches on the arm and the rest had bumps and bruises. The drunk was arrested for just that, and later we found out his 3th, yes, his 3rd drunk driving arrest. Other than that, they all will be fine. The rest of the day, was busy, but boring.

I'm beat and calling it a night.

On one of the fire dept boards i go too, a fireman from cali has posted and confirmed that universal studios in C.A. is on fire and at a 5th alarm, which means its a big uncontrolable fire. From what he is posting and what the news is reporting, several buildings are one fire, as well as one has collapsed and the king kong ride building is also on fire.
