Hi gang,

Whats up?? Whats everyone doing??? So i got my offical invertation to the FDNY thing on may 14 at city hall with the mayor. I'm a nervous wreck, but will get thru it. I'm allowed to bring up to 3 guest of honors. I'm bringing my wife and son, i wanted to bring my dad, but he has something to do as he said that day. What can be more important than watching your son get an award by the mayor??

All is well here, i'm having slight problems with Adrs for my aug trip, but when i tweak the days at certain parks, i able to get what i need.gotta run to work, have a great day everyone!!!

I actually prefer concrete. I dont like grass. And apprently never have. My mom said when I was a baby - she didnt have to watch me when we'd go to the park. She could plop me on a blanket and I would crawl to the edge put my hand on the grass and make a face - crawl to the other side - put a hand down, make a face. I didnt like grass!!! She would try to set me in the grass in little rompers, and as soon as my toes touched it, I kept lifting my legs up higher, and higher, and higher.

I still dont like grass. I 'd prefer a concrete yard. I lay out in the driveway..

And FORGET MojitooOOOooOOOoo's!!! Theyve left a bad taste in my mouth.

You are a nut!!! We should totally swap locations. I would give anything to have a lush green grassy yard. I get all worked up when I see a few blades of grass trying to poke through this god forsaken dirt.

Ive never 'watched' Sex - however, when Im flipping channels, Ill get stuck watching it. I think I probably could have gotten into it, had I watched it.

Im actually considering the movie - only because I know I get sucked into the shows.

I had my new drink of choice at Happy Hour a few weeks ago. It was sooo good and could be lethal if you didn't watch yourself since it was so smooth. It was called X on the Peach. X-rated fusion liquor ( french vodka infused with oranges, mango and passion fruit) , peach schnaups and pineapple juice OMG it was sooo good !
Anyway a good friend of mine is graduating from college next week and I want to get her a gift. Something under $50 - any ideas or should I just stick with a gift card or cash ?

I had a horrible day at work last night. With all my training, the years of service, i have seen many bad things, but i have also brought many back from the dead. Last night with all my expirence, all my training, all my knowldege, i worked endless, but could not save a little 12 year old girl. It broke my heart. I knew she was long gone. long before 911 was called, still me and my guys refused to give up.

I wacthed as doctors told her parents, she had passed away and watched as a parents world crumbled in front of thier eyes, the mother passing out and the father seemed to not understand what the doctor just said. The rest of the day my crew was quiet and all of us seemed sad, still that was'nt enough. In 8 hours in my area thier were 12 shootings and 6 fatilaties from car wrecks. I swear yesterday was death day.

Well tonight is my last one then i'm off for a few days, i need the breakl!!

Happy Friday everyone ! I am so glad it's Friday !! My week has been so incredibly stressful it isn't even funny ! I would say I am looking forward to the weekend but really I need to start packing ( since next week will be crazy too) and clean the house.

PJ - I am so sorry to hear about the little girl. I can't even imagine what her parents are going through !!

PJ - I am so sorry to hear about the little girl. I can't even imagine what her parents are going through !!

When Joey was about 8-ish, he had to spend the night in the hospital for an asthma attack.

I dont know what happened next door to our room, but a girl passed away. Maybe 5-ish. But I remember the family *wailing* - I mean, crying and sobbing dont explain it. It was pure wailing, and the Dad was on the ground, pounding on the floor, and the mom was being held up by a relative. And they were screaming, and it was like 'horrific'.

Im tearing up now thinking about it. It was the rawest and purest sorrow Ive ever seen, and it was awful. Just awful. Awful, awful, awful. I felt so TERRIBLE for them.

That poor family - and PJ's poor family.

What happened??

OH my.

She was playing in front of her house with some friends, she began to complain about being dizzy, she sat in the family car to rest and another boy about 13 said she took a nap, i have a feeling she passed right there. It was a warm day and a neighbor decided that she was a sleep in the car for about 45 minutes and that she should go wake her up and tell her to go into her house to sleep, due to the fact that it was a warm day.

When the neighbor tried to wake her, she just slumped over in the back seat. Thats when 911 was called and we got there. According to her parents she had been to the doctor that morning for comaplints of dizzyness and in the last month she been been being working up by multible doctors for unexplained episodes of passing out.

We got the run as a "rescue" who ever called 911 said that she was not breathing and locked inside the car by herself. This is 3 blocks from the fire house, so it only took us less than 2 minutes to pull on scene.Plus the fact that i was driving and really moving, since it was a kid.
