I can't believe Halloween is almost here! K-mart has costumes on sale 40% off and I believe Factory Card and Party outlet has a lot of decorations on sale I've been going through all the Ads today!

I have a toothache. All is well here.

Well i've been nominatied for another medal. Actually 3 of us from my fire house. It seems my fire house did the most confirmed runs in sept. That means that we handled the most 911 calls that were legit calls in sept out of all 5 boro's of nyc.

If we get it, there will a nice little cermony at my fire house, my family can come and be there, which means alot to me. I will take pictures to post.

You know whats weird?? So 'Jimmy' was doing it... *ahem*.... he got one asking for the numebr of JoAnne fabrics in Naperville. When Jimmy replied with said number - he added his wife went to HS in Naperville.

A few minutes later my girlfriend called me and goes 'Did....Jimmy..... just get a text asking for the number for Joanne Fabrics?' I said - yeah, and she goes 'that was me!'

Hi gang,

I'm such a liar, as i told you i had a tooth ache last night. I did not know what a tooth ache was until today,omg the pain is unreal today. I really am in a lot of pain in my tooth, can you guys say " root canal"? Of course my dentist is so kind and help ful, he had an appt open on nov 20. I explained i am in a lot of pain and needed an appt asap, like TODAY!! I was told to go to the emergency room? I do not need an emergency room for a tooth ache, i'm not dying, even if it feels like that.

Then at work the right side of my face started to swell up a little, a few of the guys noticed it first. This is of course the day i had to do a 16 hour shift. I ended up calling my dads dentist and he said he would take me now, but i explained i was at work all day. So i have an appt for saturday @ noon. I felt weird asking for pain killers to a total stranger, even if he still is a doctor. The pain took over and i begged for them. He said that city law prohibits him from giving me them if he never has seen me before. So its good old tylenol, which is hardly working at all.

Well i let you know how tomorrow goes and my appt saturday, having 2 root canals in the past, i know i need one again. Yay, let the fun begin.

PJ--I hope you'll be switching to your dad's dentist now. That's ridiculous the soonest your dentist would see you is a month. Ask a medical professional, but you may be able to rotate tylenol and ibuprofin for more pain relief. I had to do that during a sprained ankle/strep throat mishap. One drug wasn't enough to hit both pain and reduce fever.

I just noticed I overshot 4000 posts!


Guess what I did yesterday...I babysit a boy 3 days a week. Same age (& birthday) as DD. It was his turn for snack, so his mom packed a cooler. I know I had the cooler when I picked him up, but now I can't find it! The best I can figure, is I put it down to buckle them in, got in the car and drove off with it still in the parking lot. Crazy.

Hi gang,

Whats doing?? I showed up to work and i was sweating so much from the pain. I mean like pouring sweating running down my face. The swelling on my face has gotten much worse. The chief took one look at me and told me to go home sick. It looks like i got a grape tucked inside the right face cheek. He said he will not let any of his men work like that. I was so thankful, at one point he told me to stop thanking him after the 100th time. One of the guys at the fire house had naproxen and gave me 5 to take home. I took one right away.

It only took 25 minutes, but i could hear angels from heaven singing. The pain went away completely. So what do you do when you get the night off from work. Dw felt bad how misable i was the last 2 days and asked if i was up to a drive to the atlantic city casino for a small night out. So we ended up leaving at 7 pm and driving up there. I just got home. I have a slight bit of discomfort, but no real pian. Naproxen works great!! In all we left atlantic city with $100 dollars less then we showed up with, so i guess we did ok.

Dw was playing a 25 cent quater machine called 4 times pay. She ended up hitiing something and won 2,900 credits or 2,900 quaters. Which is just over $700 dollars. We had a nice dinner and i was even able to chew the food without pain and left. The casino called the Borgata was dead empty, i mean i think we were the only 2 in there. One of the employees told us since this whole economy mess its been dead. Thier scared they might get laid off if business does not pick up. I guess no one is gambling. I mean you should have seen it, dead empty. Even i was amazed. Well i have to go to the dentist tomorrow, so i let you know.

I'm home from the dentist. They started a triple root canal today. I'm really numb right now, so no pain. My dads dentist is...... Drum roll please,
Disney approved, he is a dvc member and goes at least 2x a year. He is not a diser, but i will convert him soon enough.

He drilled my tooth and we got to talk disney, it was great. Plus he gave me vicodin for the pain that he promised i will have as soon as the novcain wears off.

How great is that, vicodin, plus a disney loving dentist?? I swear if i was a women i would sleep with him. Funny thing with all this talk, i did'nt even take any vicodin yet, i'm still numb.

On a side note i forgot about having half of your face numb and trying to drink coffee. I think the poor starbucks employee thought i was having a stroke. I took a slip and she started to point at my sweatshirt and just about then i could feel the warmth of the coffe hitting my chest. I had no idea it was pouring out of the right side of my mouth. I was so embarrassed, i just said thank you and left in a hurry.

Poor PJ! I laughed so hard at the coffee story! I could so see myself doing that! Glad you found an approved Dentist who loves Disney! And that you are feeling better!

Might be too late to tell you this - but you should take a vicodin before it wears off.... if you wait too long it's hard to get it back under control!!!!

And your numb story reminded me of my mom. She had something done - and when she blew her nose in the car she sounded like Curly from the 3 Stooges when he was sleeping - weee weee weee weeee.

Then before the nitrous wore all the way off, I asked to go to the mall. She said yes, I drive to the mall - and she bought me one of the most amazing spending spree's I ever had! I totally took advantage of her drugged up state. SHe just sat in the chair outside all the dressing rooms "Sure" "Yeah, thats fine" "If you want it, get it"

I go for round 2 of the root canal on thursady. The pain is still there, but a little better.
