Just wanted to stop by and say we are home. It was a GREAT trip and Terry is totally converted over to the Disney side of the force which is FAB!!!
I have to go get Ry ready for school but I will try to check in later or tomorrow. Terry is off today and we ned to go grocery shopping and all of that fun after trip stuff!

Okay, since I blogged in here while on the phone, I had to share my update on the phone call last night. I was at a playdate today and shared my crazy phone call with another mom. I start, "I got this wierd phone call last night." The mom goes, "Was it for Terri?" I was like then . She's been getting the same prank phone calls as I! And she knows someone else who gets them too. The guy must just go through the phone book and freak people out for fun.

Tia - So glad you had a great trip! & Terry's converted!!!!! I gave up trying to convert Mike about 5 trips ago..... oh well

Mich - I forgot to say...when Casey was little & I was still working, I worked from home 2 days a week & hired a college girl to basically come play with her for 3 hours a day....it was cheap (I think back then I only paid her like $6 an hour) and I was able to work in peace. WIth THREE kiddos I'm sure it will be money well invested!!!!!

This whole new adr thing has me so frustrated! I'm so ready to make all our ressies...but of course I can't....UGH...I just wish they'd finish it.

ok, so one of the teachers at Gracies' school walks up to me yesterday as I'm dropping off Grace....& tells me she & her 8 yr old son are going to Disneyland for fall break (the kids are off Thursday thru Tuesday this upcoming week)...do I have any ideas for her????? ok I say well, I've only been to California once, and it was pretty whirlwind...so says "oh no" I meant we're going to Disneyland in florida ok so I ask, have you made any dining reservations? She says no, but we're on that dining plan thing....oy vey! So I sat down last night and used my magic disboard info and ridemax info and gave them a semi plan...oh & get this...they're staying at the Contemporary....how's that for a first visit? give me a break....people just don't get it do they!

I have boys so it's easier - cash and candy.

They dont even get up Xmas morning anymore...I have to wake them up.

You guys ever watch Hannah Montana? See the one with Bill Ray's 40th b-day and they forget cuz theyre too busy worrying about borrowing the car - and he turns to Lily and goes "Never have children...they'll only break your heart" like he's on the verge of breaking down and crying? Cracks me up - but it sums it up. Theyre no fun anymore.

Casey "wish" list is so...I dunno, DUMB - Ugg boots (ok ain't spending that much on boots), a new comforter set (have g'ma working on that one), Itunes gift card, Hollister gift cards, Jamba juice gift cards...get the picture...how BORING ....I hate buying gift cards!!!!

Even Gracie's list is growing up...Wii games, Ipod dock/speaker thing - she inherited Casey's nano when casey got the touch for graduation...nary a toy on the list....

I guess boys are easier to buy for....but at least they're not as emotional! geez...sometimes I swear I can see Casey's head spinning around just like Linda Blair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have gotten Disney Gift Cards and Dollars for the kids and we bought Roman the Laugh and Learn chair and Kitchen, but I totally want to just give them to him already! hahaha!!

Let's see for Autumn and Gabriel, we are thinking the Kid Tough DVD players, but i'm also debating on whether or not we should just get 3 of them, because eventually Roman will want one too! Argg...

We're spending Thanksgiving in Frankenmuth, so i've been trying to book the hotel up there, anyone else stay at one of the indoor waterparks there? I'm really curious about them!

Hi everyone!

Hope you all are feeling well and doing well. So, who is next to go? Is it Chris? So jealous! Sarah and I were talking today about how no trip to Disney is long enough. I guess no matter what, I can't get enough Disney.

We haven't started shopping for Christmas yet, but you will not believe the ONLY thing that Sarah wants.... a flat screen tv for the family from SANTA!!!! She said she gets enough toys from all our family, and friends, and that she would be happy if the family got a big tv!!!! NO, I DID NOT PUT HER UP TO IT!!!! She said this over the summer when we went to a hotel with a big flat screen, she loved it!!!! She's sticking with it... so we will see what Black Friday brings!

She also asked for the house to be decorated for Halloween this year, usually we just do a couple of things, like one year we did those sillouettes in the windows of goofy and mickey i think it was as vampires... and some orange lights. This year so far I have bought a skelleton to hang from the tree, and a couple of tombstones that have lights around them. Also, one of those motion sensor rocks that light up GO AWAY and have spooky music... a beware sign that lights up, some 'cobweb' and some plastic chain. Hopefully it will look spooky enough for her... oh, and we had bought a sign that says "BOO TO YOU!" in honor of the MNSSHP parade!

We decided this year we are DONE with buying Ryan lots of stuff. We are going to get him a few nice things plus his stocking and that is it.

Hi gang,

Whats doing?? Sorry i've been doing a ton of overtime, so i have not had time to check in. First off, remember a few post back of mine when i said i was up for a another medal, well i go into work last week and are told to report to the chiefs office. Long story short he gave me my new medal, it had come to him from head quaters. He told me if i keep going with all the medals i have, i will be chief of the Dept someday. I promised him to allow him to retire first and not push him out of his position, when i go for it.
Funny thing, that same night we had a successfull patient resuscitation, which means we found someone dead and did cpr and got thier heart restarted. If she is able to surrive and leave the hospital, i will be awarded another medal.Odd how things work out.


So it's contract time, the city of new york offered us a 16% raise, if the vote passes, i will get a 16% raise. We are voting next week. I really hope it goes thru. Some of the guys like it and others said we deserve more. It looks like it's split right down the middle with yes/no votes. I will let you know what happens.

So it's offical i am going to Disney august 24 to sept 2, staying at Cbr.

Hey everyone

WHEW it was so warm this weekend...& we did SO much stuff...we managed to go to Grace's soccer game, pumpkin farm, apple picking, cleaned up the front yard, bought/planted mums, got out the H'ween decorations, AND walked downtown for ice cream twice....I know the cold is coming I'm just gload we had a nice not rainy weekend before it hits!

I even managed to Christmas shop! TRU had b2g1 free on all video games...so I walked in and had planned on buying the girls 2 Wii games for Christmas....But while there I learned that as long as a game was included...it counted...so I bought

accessories were 40% off so I bought a bunch of those too

SIX regular Wii games....Mario Cart, FIshing, GOlf (gotta give Mike something), Disney Princess, balloon Pop and Carnival game

& then I was gonna just buy another GHIII and sell it on ebay....the checkout boy trips on a box behind the register & says to the other checkout boy "how long are we gonna hold this thing?" other boy says "I dunno, she called 3 hours ago"..my checkout boy says...I'm sick of tripping on it I'm putting it back on the floor...& lifts up a Wii FIT!!! I say - Umm if you're putting that back out I'll take it....SCORE! SO I bought Rock Band, Guitar Hero and Wii FIt for $238!!!! Plus another$180 on other games & accessories....

I don't think my kids will be the lucky reciepients of ALL Of that stuff...but everyone we know has a Wii too.....so I will probably give at least a few away as gifts...but I was quite pleased.....

Have I told you lately that this whole dining thing is getting on my nerves?

Today is like a Monday...laundry & house stuff......

PJ, congrats on the medal...(s) that's awesome! I think we should all plan NOW to come to your ceremony when you become the big cheese at the FDNY!

Michelle - I'm excited for you! I remember bringing Casey to Barney and Sesame Street Live and how excited we both were and how much fun it was to watch her face light up when she saw them on stage....(hard to believe I remember it so vividly when she's now in flipping high schooL!)

Yes, those reactions are truly what you always remember

They just about died at the MGM playhouse disney Live dance party, so I knew we had to go to this. They fell in love with Princesses on Ice and DIsney on Ice, so I kinda figured this would be a lot of fun too! We are headed to the Rosemont to see it, though i'm wishing I would have bought tickets for here at the Metro Center instead! haha! SO much driving

We hit up the pumpkin Patch on saturday and got pumpkins and cornstalks and hay bales! We put some up, but still have more ghosts to get on the trees and all that good stuff

Sunday we went back to the Orchard from last weekend and picked more raspberries and apples! Let me tell you we are IN LOVE with the Ida Red Apples, if anyone has a chance to pick your own, these are amazing! The inside is so white, you would swear someone painted it and they are sooo sweet! Yum!

ok that's funny about the apples....we found this apple called Snow apple...and we absolutely love it! it's white inside too!!!!! We went to one of my friends families orchard....so we taste test every tree before we pick...I'm actualy making cinnamon applesauce today...the house smells amazing.....
