I want to give popcorn as part of my theme for F.E. but I'm having a hard time finding those pre packaged 2oz bags of popcorn. I have my own popcorn machine that doesn't use oil to pop the popcorn only hot air & one of those handheld vacuum sealers. Would 10 little ziplock bags of sealed popcorn be ok to bring on the ship?

No. No homemade food is allowed on the ship. Here's the info from DCL's website:

  • Homemade, pre-cooked or other perishable items plus any open snack containers cannot be brought onboard. Limitations on permitted food items are directly related to concerns for food safety and contamination prevention.
  • Non-perishable, government-approved snack food items in their sealed, original packaging may be brought aboard ship; however, items must be consumed prior to returning to the home port at the end of the cruise or still remain in their sealed original packaging.

I did a quick search on Amazon and see several options for multi packs of 2-2.5 oz popcorn bags in various flavors. I just searched "popcorn 2 oz". Hope that helps!

Amazon is my best friend lol but I'm looking for the already popped popcorn b/c it's a movie night theme.

I wasn't sure about the white cheddar taste but I'll trust your judgment on the taste completely lol

Have you ever had white cheddar flavored popcorn? I find the Pirate Booty to be a little less intense in flavor than the brands of white cheddar popcorn I've had. Everyone has their own personal likes and dislikes, but I really like the white cheddar flavored snacks.
