Pop Warner at the POP

Just wanted to know if anyone knew when these folks would be leaving. Our vacation is scheduled 12/10-12/18 but I am thinking I would like to go an extra couple of days, so we would arrive 12/8. Am I crazy? That is their official "last day" according to the Pop Warner schedule... Not too worried about the parks (we wont be in a park until 12/10) but what will it be like with all of them there? I guess I am anti-cheerleader? LOL

Any help would be appreciated!

The championships end on 12/8, so most likely they'll be checking out on the 9th. The resorts that are bing offered as part of this years package are the All Stars and Port Orleans.

Does this mean less kids at POP this year? I am wondering because we will be there Nov 28 - Dec 8. Thanks for any light you can shed on this.

Unless they need to provide overflow, that's what it means. According to the travel package for the Pop Warner Championships, all the participants must be staying in one of the Disney resorts offered (All Stars or Port Orleans). Families may choose to stay elsewhere, but the kids cheering or playing football have to be with the group.

Also, as an FYI, their theme park party is scheduled for Wednesday 12/5 at MGM. Historically, they close that park an hour earlier to regular guests and open it up late for the kids.
