We stayed at the CBR twice and both times the transportation was very efficient. Longest wait was 20 minutes and that was because we just missed a bus. It was also around 10:30 a.m. so not one of the busiest times of the day.
I timed our ride to Hollywood Studios and it was just 11 minutes. Our longest ride was about 30 minutes and that was to Downtown Disney. Our bus driver said there was an auto accident and we were taking the long route.
The buses also ran efficiently at park closing. We usually hang back a while and let some of the crowds filter out before leaving.
I stood up a couple of times but it was my choice. I gave up my seat to people who had small children.
The rooms at the CBR are larger than the other resorts. There are also two sinks which is great when you are all trying to get ready at once.
Each village has their own white sandy beach and some have small playgrounds. Each village also has a quiet pool. Since the main pool is undergoing rehab, they have put slides in at some of the quiet pools.
Laundry facilities are located near the quiet pools.
We watched the Epcot fireworks from Old Port Royale, the Martinique beach and the Jamaica beach. You can also catch a glimpse of the top of Spaceship Earth.
The food court had a nice selections of foods to choose from with several different stations. You can find rotissiere chicken, turkey, burgers, chicken strips, pizza, pasta, salads, deli sandwiches and a wide array of fresh baked items. At breakfast, there are omlets, eggs, biscuits, pancakes, waffles and more of the fresh baked items.
The store is divided in two with one side selling pirate and CBR themed items and the other side selling the more traditional WDW merchandise.
The arcade is located in Old Port Royale and, while it was really big, it was large enough to handle the June crowds.
I don't think you could go wrong with a stay at the CBR.
There is also a marina at the CBR. You can rent watermice, canoes, pontoon boats, bicyles and surrey bikes.
