We have 3 families going on our second trip. My family is the largest with me, DH and DS's 7, 3, and 9 months. We will want a connecting room with my cousin, his DW and DD, 9. We will have 3 grandparents in another room. Our first time at ASMu in 2001 was great! We are all going back September 3-10. We got the MYW with free dining so it's a great deal. We are just trying to decide between staying at a value again and trying out POP since it is newer or upgrading and going to CBR, although after reading some of the posts I'm now wondering if POR would be better. I know it really just comes down to if we want to pay the extra $ but I just don't know if it's worth it or not considering the amount of time you are in the rooms. Advice/suggestions???? :earsboy:

I have not stayed at POR but DS and I stayed at POP this past March and loved it. We had previously stayed at POFQ and loved it as well but money was a little tight for this trip as we were staying 7 nights this time. I thought I would feel cheated staying at POP but didn’t at all. The food court was great although busier than POFQ. DS who is 14 loved the pools and spent so much time in there he started breaking out from too much chlorine. The decor in the rooms was very nice and I really could not tell that much difference in the room size. The beds at POP are full size beds as opposed to queen size beds at the moderates. It didn’t matter to us as we each had our own bed. The thing I loved the most though was the buses. We didn’t share a bus with anyone. There is only one bus stop but the walk from our room was not bad and we were overlooking the lake. It was so nice to know that once we got on a bus there would not be another stop until we got to the parks or back to the hotel. We will be staying there our next trip.

Are you saying the POP bus doesn't stop at any othe hotels either way? If so, that's a great bonus!

We haven't stayed at POP, but we absolutely love CBR :cool1: The overall theme is nice, The landscaping is wonderful, the rooms are larger, parking and bus stops are very convenient, the main pool has a really neat theme, and the walk across Parrot Cay is great. In addition, mini fridges are now standard in all moderate resorts. We prefer quieter rooms (i.e. not near pools and food courts etc.) which are plentiful at CBR. Hope this helps :)

The beds are full sized at either POP or CBR. You don't get queens until deluxes! I love both Pop and POR. I think either choice is excellent.

we had 2 queen size beds last week at Carribean Beach Resort. I know, I used to work in the bedding dept of stores!!

We ate at the Pop before going home, glad we did the Carribean Beach instead. But check to make sure your pin code is good at any resort or just at certain ones.

We requested a room by the main pool and were so happy we did. You can see Epcot's fire works every night which was so cool too. We liked it ery much. Plus the bathroom section has a curtain so we put the pack and play in that area and could close the curtain and still have a light on if we wanted. From the diagram I saw of POP rooms, I don't think they offer that.
