Pop v/s AS Movie- should I try to change reservation???

What do y'all think???
I already booked ASMov, but I am thinking I might want to change my res to Pop. So many people seem to prefer it AND:

1) I'm thinking I want the refrigerator since we are getting stuff delivered to the room from gardenGrocer... seems like a no brainer as we could get refrigerated items.

2) bus service being for POP only vs the busses being for AS Mov/Mus/Spo.
Does it make a big difference??? Going during high traffic time...

And I am thinking of asking for Lakeview- is that really a no charge thing???

If it's a non-peak time, the bus may stop at all the resorts but if it's busy, Disney dispatches more buses so that all the resorts have their own. In our week long stay we probably stopped at Music and Movies 3 or 4 times the whole week.

Is POP bigger than ASMo?
If so, wouldn't that mean it may be a lil more crowded? Especially due to the time we're going? (Thanksgiving)
Would we actually end up waiting LONGER for busses?
I have a rammy DD2 and DS6.. lol

Allstar Movies has 1920 rooms, verses 2880 rooms at POP, so POP is definately a larger resort. Allstars has 3 floors, verses POP which as 4 floors. Both have the new refriderators/coolers (no freezer compartment) which were recently added to all value resorts, along with free WIFI. You will find lots of POP lovers here on the Disboards, so make your choice based on theme. Personally we prefer the Allstar resorts to POP. Both ar 4/5 stars on Trip Advisor. Have fun deciding!

We've stayed at ASMo, ASp and Pop. We enjoyed them all and would stay at any of them in a heartbeat. However, we really liked the smaller size of the All-Stars. They are easy to get around and we only shared buses a few times in the afternoons. Never at park opening or closing.

You can't go wrong with either one. I love the theme at the Movies, it totally shouts "Disney" to me, however, at POP, it gives me a totally different vibes. POP has more things going. I really enjoyed their 6pm "The Hustle" dance with the CMs at the food court. When you're at POP it takes you back in your childhood years. It's great to see those fad in the 80s during the time I was a teenager!
