We just bought our first pop up after tent camping for years, (I know - how long until the RV?!) and I am thinking of taking my kids camping to Fort Wilderness without DH. I will practice putting it up and down before going but I
wonder if its a good idea or not. Do you think someone from FW would help me if it got stuck or something?
How about camping neighbors? Or should we wait until we can all go?

you will find that Disney staff is very helpful, we have experienced this first hand on one of our trips.

RVer's and other campers are usually quick to offer assistance, on a few occasions when arriving after dark we have had neighbors help guide us in the site, you find most are very helpful.

Start planning - you will have a great time:D

I say go for it. It doesn't take that much to set it up and take it down.
After a few times you will have no problem. As far as needing help, I'm
sure anyone that is around would be willing to give you a hand. Campers are
always willing to give a hand to a fellow camper.

I agree that it won't be hard for you to find assistance. You probably should get a site with partial hookups so that more of your neighbors will have pop-ups and know how to help you if you need it. You probably won't need help though. You should find your pop-up very easy to set up after you've done it a few times.
