Pop to VWL- how do we get there?

And how long will it take?

We are arriving in the evening on our first night and just staying at Pop most likely. If we do stay there, how do we get to VWL the next morning? How long will it take, from the time we walk to the bus stop to the time we get to the Villas check in desk?

I'm wondering if a long, drawn-out bus trip is really what we need on our first day. If we have to rent a car, then we might as well just stay at WL on our first night anyway.

Hmmm...

Any thoughts?

You can have bell services transfer your luggage then all you have to do is get your bodies from POP to VWL.

Mar 24-26 (Fri-Sun) I reserved Pop because I dont want to use DVC pts for a wknd night
March 26 (Sun morn) Im planning on taking bus to MK at 8am then boat to WL (planning an hr for this switch). We're checking into VWL Mar 26-31.

We've moved from resort to resort on past trips. Disney does the moving. Just need to be plan to be w/out luggage till 4pm checkin time (sometimes rooms are ready earlier). Even if you stayed at WL then switched to VWL youd still need to plan to be w/out a room.

Keep in mind, if you're leaving Pop really early there won't BE a Blizzard Beach bus yet. But if you're really concerned about the long trek, you might want to budget for and take a cab. Even if your party is large, Pop should be able to get you a van cab.

I would consider a taking a cab. For about 15 bucks, you and your luggage are all at VWL in under 15 minutes. Certainly cheaper than a rental car and certainly quicker than dealing with the busses.

This is what I plan on doing in January when I move from POR to the Yacht Club.
