I have a 9:30AM reservation for Ohana on our last morning in WDW, Sept. 21st. (So soon! :lovestruc Never been to Ohana before!) We need to get back to Pop Century in time for Mickey's Magical Express to take us to the airport. Flight leaves at 3:30, so I'm guessing they want us on the Magical Express around noon? :confused3

What do you think? Would you do this? Is this enough time? Ohana's is the one ADR I'm most excited about, so I don't want to mess it up! I don't fly much, and I'm nervous about being late. Thanks in advance. :stitch2:

I think you'll be fine. Let's take a worst case scenario...

Make sure you're leaving breakfast by 11:30a (IIRC, breakfast takes ~1 hour at most). You'll need to be back at POP by Noon (ASSUMING a ME pickup time of 12:15... could be 12:45). Catch a cab outside of Poly and you're back at Pop by 11:45.

Or, show up a few minutes earlier, and use Disney transportation (how about boat to MK, then bus back to POP?) to get back. I'd plan on 90 minutes (to be safe) of travel time.

You need to be back at Pop at least 45 minutes before you scheduled pick up time. Keep in mind that the time they give you is the time your bus is scheduled to leave. You need to be at the platform completely ready to go (have your carry-ons, every one has gone to the bathroom, etc.) 15 minutes before your pick up time.

If you show up at 'Ohana at 9:00, they may seat you a bit early. When your server takes your drink orders, ask if you can go ahead and pay. If you want to see all the characters, it may take a bit more than an hour. You should also be prepared to take a cab back to Pop.

If I were you, I would try to get an earlier ADR.

You should be okay. I would plan on getting to 'Ohana a bit early....you may be able to be seated early if you're lucky. Don't count on it, but it could happen.
So, you got seated at 9:30...as already noted, be sure to ask for your check asap. That is what seems to take up time at the end of a meal...drives me nutty.
As long as you're leaving 'Ohana no later than 10:45, you should be okay. Take the monorail over to MK, get on the bus to Pop...that could take awhile though...up to 45 mins!! You may want to just take a cab from the Polynesian...you can linger a bit over breakfast and not have to rush and worry about your timing. It's not a good way to end you vacation!! Yeah, so take a cab.
Be sure to be back at Pop by 11:30. You will need to get any carryon bags from Luggage Assistence...they are not know for their speed. I'm going to assume that you are checking your bags earlier in the morning. Make those last minute runs to the potty and gift shop. Be out at the DME bus stop no less than 15 mins prior to the time you are given...the time you are given is the time the bus is supposed to leave the resort, not the time you should think about leaving the gift shop!!!

Thanks for your thoughts...I'm glad I asked. We'll save Ohana for another trip. Too stressful to be watching the clock all morning! I was able to get an ADR for a different day at Garden Grill instead. (Never been there, but my kids love Chip & Dale)

We now plan to relax at the pool & arcade our last day! :)
