Quickest is taxi.
Second quickest is drive a car.
But using Disney transportation, I'd say take the bus to DHS and the either walk or take the boat to BC.

The best advice I can give is not to try to go from one resort to another. It just takes up too much valuable time. If you want to go to the Beach Club (or any other Epcot resort) the easiest way is to plan on being in either Epcot or the Studios before going to the Beach Club.

From Epcot you can exit at the International Gateway (just past Great Britain) and take the five minute walk to the Beach Club.

From the Studios you can take the Friendship boat or take the 15 or so minute walk to the Beach Club.

Sorry for the thread hijack - this was exactly what I was looking for!

We are thinking of visiting the Beach Club area on our non-park day. Can you catch the Friendship Boat or walk the path without actually entering Epcot or Hollywood Studios? Or is there a way to get to Beach Club from Downtown Disney?

The quickest way (using WDW transportation) to get to BC from another resort is to get to DHS via bus, and then walk or boat to the BC stop from there. This does not require entering the park. Getting to BC from the EPCOT IG entrance (from a non-EPCOT resort) requires park entry and transit to the IG area.

There is a bus from Downtown Disney to Beach Club, but it is extremely slow in my experience and buses infrequent.
