MIA.... I just wanted to infor you all that our current swapper has been unable to locate the fridge, I along with previous swapper have called and there is currently no sign of it. jordancej if you can take a look when you have time for it... should be black with about 4 or 5 stickers on it I know 2 are mickey and 1 is hot wheels... I have a feeling it got sent to another swap before our person could get it...

That's a bummer!!! I will be at the resort tommorrow around noonish, and I will see if it can be located. I have a blackberry so I'm aways connected to the internet, so I will post my findings.... So pretty much if our fridge isn't there, we are SOL right???

Tanya If you know who last had the fridge ask who they left it for ! That was how I located it in February. One person did not pick it up so it was still there under their name! Hope this works!!

I'm a couple down the list (start 6/1), but if it doesn't turn up by then, and there is no better plan in place...if others on the list wish to keep it going, I would be willing to pick up a new fridge at Walmart/Target/etc. If the next dozen or so people on the list (?more or less) chipped in like is done to start swaps, we could be back in business. We are driving, so would not be too difficult.

That said, however, still hoping it turns up!!

you can see if you can check every few days... hopefully it will show up... if not we'll either have to get another or end it... which I would be really sad to do

I hope they find it!! If they do or start another, we won't be needing it 6/8-6/15. We've changed our ressie to this fall and upgraded resorts.

Hi all,
unfortunately the fridge never showed up for me. After speaking with the swapper ahead of me..we agreed to swap the fridge through baggage services as per norm. I went there and was told there was no fridge for me and to check back later. I checked my phone and got a garbled message from the other swapper and left a message but never got a response. I checked with baggage services several times over several days and still no fridge...what a bummer. I was lucky enough to get a medical fridge from the POP as my DH is diabetic and I was travelling also with my toddler - milk is a must! I even left my info with baggage services and they told me they would contact me if the fridge showed up - it never did.

Boy that is too bad. I think if I was the next one on the list and/or are already down there I would be at the front desk and/or luggage services and persistantly asking about it. If there was still no sign of it I would point blank ask them if they have another mini fridge that was not claimed because obviously there "WAS" one supposed to be there for you. It's worth a try. Just venting for the swap group!!
