Not sure about the gondolas- I thought those were maybe supposed to be opening in the fall.
The Murphy bed mattress is the same mattress that is on the regular bed. Very comfortable!

The Murphy Bed is exactly the same as the other bed other than the folding mechanism. Both are very comfortable .

Will the gondola be up and running by August?

Most likely not.

I agree 100% that the Murphy Bed is very comfortable. I’m a big fan of the renovated rooms. Have a great trip!

Thank you glocon and dansdad. We have FD at AKL, but decided to save money and go to POP and upgrade the dining plan.

Staying at POP again this Summer. Last Summer the room we got was just 10 days old when we checked in. Right out of the refurb. It was great.

Rooms are cute, atmosphere very Disney, good food court and the bus situation is as good as it gets I think.

We stayed at Pop in November. The Murphy bed is great. We stayed in a preferred pool view room. It was a great location. Enjoy your trip.
