POP or CBR for kids

Which resort would kids (ages 5 & 8) enjoy more - Pop Century or Carribean Beach resort? I've looked at both threads and both resorts look great. I wouldn't mind upgrading to CBR if it will be a big difference from POP -- I like that CBR has a water slide, but is there anything else to consider?

Also, are the counter service food prices about the same?

We stayed at CBR 4 years ago and Pop Century this last August. She already gave me the orders that Pop Century is the only place she wants to stay. There really is no contest. Pop Century is so larger than life it is eye candy for both adults and kids. The hippie Dippie Pool is huge (although there is no slide) it is still better than CBR main pool. I personally didn't care for CBR pool. It looks better in pictures. I liked CBR but I lived Pop Century. My whole family felt the same way. The food court and the lobby and game room wins big points especially with the kids. The gift shop is really nice also. I really can't say enough good things about Pop Century. Disney out-did themselves with this resort.

stemikger - I was kinda getting the same feeling about the pool, etc. when I looked at the photos. Thanks for confirming my thoughts! I appreciate your input - we will be staying in POP Century!

My husband and I thought the same thing when we saw the pool at CBR. We couldn't believe how small it looked compared to the pictures. Man was it crowded. You will love your stay at POP.
