We have stayed at POP many times. Considering All Star Music to just try something different. We are park people and spend little time at the resort. I like at POP that I have been able to get a quiet room facing the lake. I like that ASMU is smaller but concerned about busses as we will be there in March. Should I try ASMU or stick with POP?

I have stayed at POP but the last five stays and our next stay (2/24/16) will be at Music. Here is why.
POP has 2880 rooms and Music has 1604 rooms. Chances are there is less crowding and noise at Music due to 2,552 less people. I get that number by taking the extra POP rooms and multiplying by 2.
Music, I have found, has never let me down when it came to cleanliness, noise, accommodations in the restaurant or using the front desk, and I have found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. So much so that I email several of the ladies from the staff regularly. As for the bus situation, don't worry about the so called sharing problem. The All Stars only share in the mid day times when there are smaller groups waiting for buses. That adds an additional 3-5 minutes on the bus if you have to share. Besides, with the extra 2500 guests at POP waiting for a bus, you do the figuring on how long you may have to wait. I too am a park person but my wife and I always return to Music in the afternoon for pool relaxation time. We are in our 60's and enjoy the mid afternoon break. It is always restful poolside and we cannot complain about noise or a full pool for these times. Hope this has helped.

I've stayed at Pop more than 5 times, at ASMusic twice. I much prefer Pop. Yes, Music is less crowded. But I find it to be somewhat less appealing than Pop. It just seems tired. And the fact that I was put way out in the Country Fair area the last time sure didn't help! On the backside of that building, so it was a fair amount of walking to get to the food court/buses.
On the other hand, there are tons of people that prefer the All Stars. It's all about personal preferences. After all...you're not buying the room, just using it for a few nights!!!

Not even a choice for us, we would stay at POP. POP is our favorite value, Music our least favorite. I don't see booking there again.

We just returned from an 8 night stay at Music. We enjoyed it. We were not there during the day - only to sleep. We were in Rock Inn building which is not close to the main building but the walk is not bad. The room was well maintained and we had no issues with anything. Our rooms faced a landscaped area next to the parking lot and it was quiet. Ate in the food court a few times. Good selection of food. Don't know about the busses since we had our own car.

We are also going to try Music after only staying at POP. DH wanted to try something different next trip.
