Pop or AS Movies?

We stayed at All Star Movies for a few days several years ago and it was fine. If no codes come out for summer we'll be staying at a value again (really prefer a moderate). Should we go back to Movies or try Pop? What do you think?

We've stayed at both! I prefer the newness of POP.

We have stayed at both...the kids liked ASMo but they LOVED Pop.

We stayed at the movies and had a great time. But on our next trip we are staying at Pop because it does not share a bus with other resorts and it is newer.

They took everything that was good at ASMo and made it even better at POP! As Emeril would say "they kicked it up a notch"!

We have stayed at both and enjoyed both. But I would pick Pop Century over All Star Movies. Pop Century is really cool. It offers more than All Star Movies.

I have stayed at all of the All Stars and at Pop Century and I like the All Stars better for one simple reason. There are fewer people trying to eat at the food courts. There is only one food court at Pop Century and it was very loud. The food courts at All Stars can be very loud too but the Pop Century food court always seemed much more crowded every time I was there. Just my opinion.

I don't know if you drink or not - but Pop has a pool bar and a lounge - the all Star doesn't.

I don't drink alot - but one night of each vacation I appreciate not having to go to DD or PI or BW to get a drink.

The All Stars do have a poolbar. It is located on the outside of the food court.

I prefer Pop, its has more variety for 'icons' while still being mostly disney(but not all). plus basically it was designed with improvements from the all starts, and also its only bussing that isnt shared.
