Pop or All Stars

I'm sure that this has been asked before, but I can't seem to find the thread so...
for all of you who have stayed at both, which do you like better and why?

We have stayed at the All Stars a few times but maybe it's time to change.

Well I would say a couple of things come into facter. When are you going? If its now till end of summer I say NO WAY. We where just there and the line for POP was enourmous leaving the parks at close. We didn't have to wait long 15-20 min and we stayed at All Star Sports. But I do like the food court at POP better. They have more of a selection and some better desserts.

But when I call to make a reservation, which is 5-8 times a year. My first choice All Star Sports then POP then All Star Movies. Doubt this helped any, but wanted to give my thoughts.

We are probably going in mid-Nov (pre-Thanksgiving), or possibly mid-Oct.
The bus lines won't bother us because we will have a car. Are the rooms at POP in better shape because they are newer or does that not seem to make a difference?

Yes the are in better shap. I was just noticing that again this past weekend that All Stars needs a over hall not just a touch up. But we basically use it for a place to lay are head and shower and head back out.

My friend and I love POP! We stayed in the 80's building, overlooking the lake! If you have any questions, just ask!

We've stayed at all 3 All Stars and at Pop. It is a tie for theming for ASMovies and Pop. Pop wins for compact layout, pool,foodcourt and gift shop. My DD (9) picked Pop over AKL!

I've stayed at As Sp and As Mu many times. On my last trip, I stayed at POP and loved it so much better... The benefit to POP, group trips (ie. schools, teams, etc.) all get booked at the All Star Resorts so you don't have to run to the food court in the morning to beat the large groups to breakfast!

I think I would choose Pop Century.

I would say POP as well. We stayed there last November the week of Thanksgiving, it wasn't very crowded and the rooms were great for our 3 yr old.
