Hi,

Looks like I will get to visit Disney June 30th to July 6th or 7th. It will be just me and my 15 year old son.

I’m trying to decide between Pop and one of the All Stars. We will likely only be eating breakfast at the resort, we might use the pool a tiny bit but probably not and will be spending all time in the parks and Disney Springs other than when we are just resting in the room.

Other than possibly renovations is there any reason not to go with the cheapest. We stayed once years ago at All Star Music and it was fine although we were there during January when it was less busy (but still with some big tour groups).

Thanks for any suggestions on which way you would go.

July is Tour Group Season and they for sure stay in the All Stars. Plus Pop will be nearly done with the remodeling. So I think I would go with Pop Century.

If you don't plan on using the food court or pool, even if tour groups are there they shouldn't bother you except possibly be full buses. I'd go with the cheapest one. I've stayed in ASSp and a renovated room at Pop. The new rooms are nice but do have a pull down bed instead of two regular beds so unless you plan on sleeping in the same bed you are going to have to pull down the murphy bed every night or leave it down. It is the only table in the room so if you leave it down, you loose table space.

I've stayed at Pop and at 2 of the 3 All Stars. To me there is no reason to pay more for Pop. I'd stick with whichever All Star appeals to you most.

The 15s will be at POP also so I would stick with the All-Stars.

Also, the first week of July should be the "quietest" week of July in terms of numbers of The 15s(probably to the disappointment of your son!lol:)).

However be prepared for The 15s to be AMPED UP to MAXIMUM LEVEL:)lol-the World Cup is this Summer!

If Brazil and Argentina happen to play each other,it will take WDW YEARS to recover!lol:)
