I love credit cards so much! v7.0 - 2025 (see first page for add'l details)

Moved all my UR's to my CSP in anticipation of October 26, I think it is. To keep them at 1.25 for booking.

Was thinking I could grab more gift cards this week and next week. But the UR's wouldn't post until Nov 1st, so will not hold the 1.25. Will get some Visas when they show.

I'm going to miss that little bump up. I've lucked out also and got points boost on a few rooms, but I don't see it where I need it outside the Disney area.
So, I have a CSP and P2 has the CSR...

I normally use my URs at Hyatt. Should I go ahead and combine all our URs to P2's CSR (just in case) and only move them back to my CSP if I need them to book Hyatt?

As an aside: Has anyone had trouble combining UR points on the website? It has been a PITA, Chase is asking for a text message code for verification which is a good thing for security but after imputing the text code in the box and hitting enter, the screen goes blank and I have to do it 2 or 3 times with a code every time before it will get confirmed.

As far as I understand, once they are moved, that's where they will stay. You wouldn't be able to move them back to transfer to Hyatt directly from your CSP.

If you are usually transferring all your UR's to Hyatt from your CSP as a transfer partner then I'd probably keep them on the CSP. Either way (or card) it's 1:1 to Hyatt as a transfer partner.

But, any UR's you want to use through the travel portal to book hotels would be nice on the CSR as they will book at 1.50 if moved by Oct 26.

Since I only have a CSP, (no CSR) it's pretty simple for me. For you, it's more a personal assessment of how you use your points.

I got the code each time and had no problem. Sounds like a glitch of some kind for you. Good that it eventually goes through.

I'm tired of codes - had to do it a couple of times today to get into other accounts. My Safeway account 'suddenly didn't recognize my device.' With Safeway it's happened about three times in the last three weeks. Sometimes I figure it's computer updates cutting me off and making me jump through the hoop again. Still, hopefully the codes put a block on possible fraud.

I know a lot of you travel internationally, so I thought you might be interested in my timeline for renewing my passport during the Government Shutdown:

Monday 09/29 did the renewal application online

Wednesday 10/01 at 12:01 am the government shut down

Monday 10/06/2025 my new passport arrived in the mail.

A few things to keep in mind if you are going to renew online:

a) You will need a login.gov account. You might already have one (such as if you have a Social Security online account). If you have one, have your password handy. If you don't have one, the system will prompt you to create one.

b) Have your old passport handy, because you will need to refer to it.

c) I had planned to renew by mail. I had my photo taken at a local AAA office. When I decided to renew online, I scanned the photo on my home scanner. Getting the system to accept my photo was the only tricky part of the whole renewal process. It kept rejecting my photo. I had to change my scanner setting to a resolution of 600 dpi. Also, AAA had cut the photo to 2 inches x 2 inches. I finally figured out that if I scanned it at 3 inches x 3 inches, the system would let me edit it (move my face to the middle) and it was accepted. So if you are going to scan a photo, you might need to know how to change the settings on your scanner. I know other people have just had a friend take the photo, but I didn't do that.

Our local AAA offers the option to have digital copy of the photo. I think it was an extra $10 or $15.

We had no issues getting those accepted for the online passport renewal.

Ooh, interesting. AAA did not mention that I could get a digital copy of the passport photo. I didn't think to ask.

No you can transfer them again back. If the P2 hasn’t transferred to the P1 they will need to call chase first and then it will show online to combine points.

Of course with Hyatt they could always transfer between Hyatt accounts but this is much faster.
