Hi! Can anyone tell me... do all buildings at PC have handicap rooms in them? I don't need a "roll in" shower, I simply need the bars in the tub/restroom. Do you have to pay for a preferred room to get that? If you don't pay for a preferred, and there are handicapped rooms in all buildings, are the grounds huge? Thanks! :goodvibes

Most buildings have accessible rooms.
No, you do not have to pay for preferred to get an accessible room.
Be sure to inform Disney which kind of accessible room you need.
The entire resort, from one corner to the diagonally opposite corner (far end of the 90s to far end of Building 2 in the 50s) is 1,500 feet.

If walking long distances is a challenge you might want to pay extra for preferred as otherwise the accessible room types are located, as was mentioned above, throughout the resort. In the WDW DRC lingo a "fully accessible room" refers to one with a roll in shower, and an "accessible room with tub rails/grab bars" refers to the type you are looking for. If you do have the tub/rails they can also provide a shower bench if you need one. ---Kathy
